Champions League Round of 16 (12th Feb - 13th Mar)

And does anyone know why Mane’s hairline starts growing in the middle of his upper head? I’ve heard of a fivehead before, but he’s aiming for a sixer, for sure.

Ribery touched 2 balls so far and spread more flair than Coman and Gnabry all game.
If Bayern intend on doing anything in the next game he has to start. Those kids aren't ready to be a wide 2 in a system with two midfielders.

No goals in two games. :boring:

Funny how everyone here predicted Liverpool to spank Bayern.

Way too wasteful from Barcelona tonight. 23 shots vs Lyon’s 5.

Doubt that happens again, they should make it comfortably at home.

Liverpool makes too many poor decisions on the ball. Bayern defended well especially Hummels in the central defence. I think they'll handle whatever liverpool has and step up a gear in the next game.

I find it very unlikely we will be any worse offensively in the second leg away. They'll attack but that away goal could come as well. I think we needed a win tonight to be comfortable going into that.

Was that a Robbie Williams mask in the crowd??:confused:

Liverpool starting to look just a bit tired in my opinion.Salah was poor, Mané poor, Firmino anonymous and their fullbacks below par.
Their midfield creates f**kall .Of course they will be better with VVD but if we are positive we will take them.

How've they played?

Miss VVD?

Any injuries?
I thought we played well in general, solid defensively and with a very high intensity. Poor in the final third though, we sorely miss a creative outlet from midfield, hopefully Ox is back soon.

Didn’t miss Van Dijk since Bayern wasn’t all that. Don’t think we have any injuries.

0-0 at home may not look good on first sight but the fact Bayern didn't score an away goal is a tricky situation for them. If Liverpool manage a goal, they're forced to score 2. Remember Atletico-Chelsea in 13/14?

Advantage B. Munich and Barca. Would be happy enough to see Spurs drawn against the former (assuming we go through), less so against the latter.

Yeah 0-0 at home is no disaster.

Barcelona look knackered. Struggling to score in recent games. Messi and Suarez can't handle full season schedule I think these days and can't be rotated enough. Just Seville and Real Madrid twice next. Season defining period.

Fekir will be back for second leg should be an interesting game.

fecking hell you’re relentless

Boateng and Coutinho would definitely do a better job than Suarez :wenger:
You and I would do better than what Suarez has done tonight. This is genuinely one of the worst individual performances I've ever seen.

Bayern out ran Liverpool: 111 km vs 110 km. If you wonder why Liverpool didn't look all that good. They always struggle when the opposition match their effort. That's the best recipe against them.
