Champions League Round of 16 (12th Feb - 13th Mar)

Good point. But Atletico are a more experienced and streetwise team than United though.
Yeah I was just taking the piss. Don’t think it applies to Juve though, they’ve always gone far in the CL. Just came up early against a savvy and tactically very well drilled Atlético this time.

Keown - Pep never changes tactics, he always goes for the win.

Pep - KdB off for a defender.

Rightio Keown.

Could Atletico be considered dark horses for this year's Champions League? It's about time they had a bit of luck

Final at the Wanda, so yes if they can get there, plus extra motivated by that.

If Juve got KOed from 16th round after getting Ronaldo, that's Allegri sacked then.

Schalke deserved that for being cowards. They needed to add to that lead and decided to play keep ball.

Awful stuff.

Stunned how poor Juventus have been tonight, not like them at all and are a shadow of the side who played against us in the group-stages.

What was the point of buying Ronaldo only to get knocked out in the last 16?

Predicted in the Chelsea thread early today that he'd end up there either this summer or the next. Juve's league point total is very flattering, and his style of football is a frankly terrible for a squad of that caliber.

He'd suit Chelsea to the ground.

Don't know what people were expecting. Even if City lost they would have hammered them in the home leg.
