The only silver lining is that the City players flopped as well (though not as bad!).
Over 70% of the top 10k captained on of Aguero, Sterling or Pogba, so it could have turned out even worse. Obviously captaining a -1 is shit but imagine if Aguero/Sterling had bagged a couple each. Hopefully Salah doesn’t so too much.
Looks like the Jiménez captainers are in for a big rank increase tonight.
fecking pogba. Had him as Captain with rash in the team also. At least it cost most people so not as annoying

That is fantasy football. I avoided majority opinion to captain Pogba and I glad I did. Sterling and aguero did nothing as well
Yeah I’m on 33 points with only Anderson to play. Fortunately the rest of my league have also not done well so I will still have a nice cushion over second. It could decrease from 77 to 60-65 range but that is still very safe.
Jimenez and Duffy did well, the rest awful.
I have swapped Bennett and Auba for Walker and Batshuayi. Palace have nice two games coming and City have a good schedule and should not rotate Walker much.
Yep, most in my league near the top either had Pog or Aguero.
Just that pure irritation that for one kick being better we could be 20points up!
The results went right though. Our comeback, Arsenal - Tott draw, and City getting through another win. They seem to have dried up on goals though, despite having 18-20 odd shots v none!
Hope Everton can for once do something. Just a draw turns things totally round.

Yeah, like I said earlier - NEVER cap a United player.
I literally do it a few times a season - did Pogba today, and will seriously try to avoid doing it again this season.

I have him for -1. Was happy he was taking the pen and then it almost ruined the whole of a class match for me.
Both my keepers didn't start. Knew about Patricio but thought Guaita would carry on starting. Had Doherty, Kolasinac and Auba too. Only Dendoncker coming off the bench.

I think I won’t even reach 40 points. The last three weeks have been tough after getting 196 points in two weeks prior to this run.

£2.2m in the bank but no free transfers. I will either upgrade McNeil to someone better or make some improvements in defense. I think my attack of Aguero, Batshuayi and Jimenez will stay this way until then the end of season, really little value in strikers market above £8m.

Same. Put Rudiger in for Doherty with my FT as I'd be benching him next week anyway and he blanks the week after.
29 after bonuses with Salah, Matip and Robertson to play. Also got Ward-Prowse coming in with 10. Shame Doherty came on as I had AWB who'd have given me an extra 5

Hazard 15 pointer tomorrow would be nice. Would be disastrous if he was left out of squad though as I have Pogba(vc)
Pogba penalty miss was a 10 point swing (rashford assist) and then he gets booked for good measure.

If he scores the pen, as well as getting 5 (x2 as cap), he most likely gets at least 1 (2) bonus points.
Add in the Rashy assist, +3. So that'd be 15 extra as cap.
Throw in the -2 (-4) for the pen miss, and -1(-2) for the yellow, and that's a 21 point swing!
I haven't him captain, hazard is my captain. Don't think he'd have got bonus. 11 points including the yellow.
Captain on Jimenez seems like a good move so far.

How much for the ones who had Jimenez as captain all week (yeah he was my captain in midweek as well and he blanked) then changed it to Pogba at literally the last minute?
