Premier League Gameweek 29

Everton need to bring Richarlison on. There's not quality out there.

I remember when Walcott was deemed a prodigy at 16 and how he was supposed to be the next big thing in England, at a time when Rooney was in full pomp. I couldn't see it then.i watch him now, almost 14 years later. I wasn't wrong.
Pointless player.

Everton are pathetic. Their entire games is to hoof it forwards. What a sorry excuse for a derby.

It's not as if Everton aren't trying, they are just shit.

They'd love nothing more than to piss on their parade, but they don't have the quality.

Everton are genuinely shit. Not winning here is a poor result for Pool. Calvert-Lewin looks the only one whose up for this out of the Everton lads.

Are Everton any better these days than they were under Moyes? I thought they had a better squad under him.

Yeah they're absolutely terrible. However can't help but feel they should be playing better football than this. Absolutely no quality in possession whatsoever. Liverpool can play a mediocre game and win this.

That was the scrappiest first half of football I've seen in a long time. Neither team look capable of breaking the deadlock.

Let's pray it stays that way :)

Liverpool the 0-0 side haha. 1.5 years ago most did consider Liverpool an attacking side often being involved with plenty of goals either way. Now it is the other way around.

This is as good as we can expect from Everton to be fair

This!

They have very little quality, and it's merely the occasion and the fact it's their big game even keeping them in.
An absolutely pointless club that I'd imagine you have to be over 40 to even remember them as a force.

Is the match really that bad? I've been too busy playing Dota to bother checking anything but the score

Get Richarlison on, at least he’ll provide a bit more cutting edge.

Has to be a better option than a short guy with no quality as a lone front man

Walcott looks absolutely zero threat either, it wasn't so long ago he would outpace anyone.

Without Firminho Liverpool clearly struggle to combine and has to give the ball to Salah to move it forward or get into the middle. Mane doesn't seem to help a lot in the construction. Neither is Origi. In this case, a draw is perfectly plausible in this game... bring it on, the less they win, the better.

Maybe Klopp is hoping to just draw all their difficult games 0-0, thrash everyone else and pray it's enough to win the title?

Bit harsh, they've had the odd good season under Martinez and Koeman in recent times. In 13/14 they were pretty good to watch and should've finished above Arsenal. Had all those solid seasons under Moyes.

They're a bit like Man. City were in the 2002-08 period. Remember all the good results they got against Man. United in that period despite having barely any money?

On the quality bit, weren't people drooling at their summer business getting the three Barca players in? Shows it's not as simple as that, Gomes seems to have reverted to his average type and Mina been a big disappointment as thought he'd do well for them.
