I really don’t understand how VAR and offside is supposed to work here. I was under the impression that the flag wouldn’t go up until after they’d let play continue if the calls were marginal. Then VAR would confirm whether or not it was offside.
But three offside decisions have been given in the spurs game where it was very close. The most recent being Kane who actually looked onside. It totally negates the point of having VAR if they just put the flag up willy nilly.

His stats certainly are great. Lately there is some dissatisfaction about his overall play but all in all he is of great value for us.
