Champions League Round of 16 (12th Feb - 13th Mar)

More crosses than a vampires front room.

Or a Davy Moyes porn video.

Simeone is such a coward for someone with so many "manly" antics.

Disgusting set up for this match. Absolutely no attempt to even play a little bit of football with such an insanely talented squad. Even Mourinho showed more intent than this when we were in Turin.

This Bernadeschi lad looks pretty good. Like a less fast but more technical douglas costa. Could use on of them on our RW.

I like this Bernadeschi today. Playing well.

How? He was the opposite of cowardly in Madrid

We would be huge underdogs against either

Because everytime Atleti are on the verge of doing something great, he tells his team to do nothing to end up dying in the shore.

This leg is another example, last leg vs Real was another, 2-0 on the 2nd leg, one goal to complete the comeback and he instructed his players to drop back and look for the 3rd at the counter, killed their momentum and revived Real Madrid.

Defending a 2-0 lead in a knockout tie is in no way comparable to a group stage game.

Mmmmm debatable penalty.

Why are you not allowed to physically touch a player in the box, mental.

This is going to be ugly because of the referee. Just wait and watch a train wreck in slow motion.

Morata flopping all over the place. Sorry mate, Jon Moss ain't reffing this one.

No doubt simeone is a good manager but I really Hate his defensive approach to games. It really seems like they are going to park their way to glory.

And we’ve seen exactly what will happen here if you let a team with the quality of Juve just attack you non stop for 90 minutes. If you don’t try to play some football yourself they will breach your defense eventually.

Hope Juve go through. I think Atleti would be horrible team for us to play against, plus if Juve go through it means we won't have to endure watching any more Atleti games.

I don't remember the tie from last season, but in this tie I see nothing wrong with Atletico's approach so far. They are leaning on their strength and paying Juve proper respect. They need to do better with the ball though.

In his defense this ref is the only Dutch person to qualify for the last two international tournaments.
