Why shouldn't this cnut be sued for hate speech. After the first line it is hate speech against Muslims, and essentially accuses the victims for causing this.

It is absolutely clear that he enjoyed this happen, and the act is totally aligned with his opinions. First sentence is just mouth vashing, likely it was the hardest part for him to write.

This is what I'm fecking talking about when referring to politicians. How can something like this stand without punishment? He should be jailed and removed of any post he has for saying sh*t like this! If the Australian government has any fecking spine they would kick him out immediately.

How could anyone say something like this.

I disagree with this. They are at least just as dangerous as ISIS, if not more so. The only difference is that the white supremacist types are born in countries where it isn’t as easy for them to wreak havoc, as it is for groups in war torn Syria or Iraq for example.

Given similar circumstances that would allow them this relative ‘freedom’ these right wing nut jobs would happily do the same things that we condemn ISIS for.

It is like they have to justify everything that happens in their warped minds, when sometimes there is no justification. Sorry if these people think they are the master race, then we are well and truly fecked. I find it frightening.

Surely this would constitute hate speech? Someone has just shot people dead in cold blood and he's pointing the finger at the dead, it's beyond callous and disgusting. Imagine being a family member of one of those who died, and having to read absolute scum like this tell you how it was your loved one's fault he got murdered?

I can't imagine the government could possibly keep him on. He's justifying mass murder, there's no way a sicko like that can be allowed to remain in any position of power.
 
What Fraser has said isn't something new, it's the same rhetoric right wing politicians /celebs have been spewing for years.

They gave a white suprematist and child porn loving group a platform. The excuse they didn’t do enough research doesn’t wash with me.

See, if I pulled that sort of stunt I would be expect to be fired. Yet THQ Nordic employ the guy.

Just like Pewdiepie gives people like Ben Shapiro a platform. Just like his stupid edgy nazi jokes. He can apologise all he wants. But at the end of the day he’s never released a statement distancing himself from these groups. If he denounced them then maybe he’d have my respect.
 
While this so much more than this wrong with that statement, I object to calling it vigilantism. Vigilantes (in a cack handed way) enforce law and order and go after criminals. This was just murder of the innocent.
 
I've woken up this morning and there was a video in our friends' watsapp group. I watched it and am lost for words. The most chilling and harrowing parts being the beginning where someone in the entrance says "welcome, brother" before he's shot and the end, which I don't even want to describe.

I text my wife immediately and warned her not to watch it. For now, I don't want to read his manifesto. I don't want to know his name. I don't want to share the video. I don't want him to have an ounce of the attention that he craves. I just want to remember the victims.

Nobody, but nutjobs are the problem in this world.

If you don't mind me adding my thoughts these people use religion as any power hungry excuse for a human has done down the ages. Christianity isn't about hatred and violence just as Islam is not. To be a christian is to try to be 'Christ Like' or as 'Christ One' from which we get Christian.

The Old Testament is full of plagues and revenge using violence but the Christ that christians follow advocated Peace always.

I wouldn't want to take this thread off-topic with argument but I know people have very different views to me however these people want to change our lives. We should want to preserve our way of life and not submit to their hatred and anger with more in return.

Don't think links between Christianity and this attack should be discounted if links between Islam and any attack by Muslim extremist in west or elsewhere aren't.

Indeed. Vigilantism carries with it the implication that the person attacked has done something wrong themselves. By calling this shooter a vigilante, he’s actually reinforcing his assertion that Muslims aren’t innocents.
 
Can we not make it international law that sharing these videos, images etc carries the same sentence as having indecent child images?
It's pure propaganda, the world is carrying his word for him. It's exactly what he wants.
 
We’ve lost huge parts of a whole generation of young men to full blown racism, islamophobia and hatred. Not just the US, Australia or NZ, but basically the whole western world. This shit won’t stop. It’ll get worse. That’s what happens, if you let 14 year old boys hang around the internet all day, without any supervision whatsoever.
