Carrick>Hargreaves
City, especially fernadinho, get away with murder with these dirty tackles in midfield and never get early cards. He should be off for that elbow on kane, but no punishment. Wtf
Then we'd lose the final, I guess? You'll never see me say that we deserve a penalty for such a thing. So what happens if that call was Liverpool in the CL final in the 85th minute and Rose does that handball but because of no VAR you guys don't get a pen and lose the final?\
RAWK would not shut the feck up about it for 100 years.
Why? If a defenders hand is so high its a clear pen.
No VAR on that Fernandinho rubbish?
You can’t dive in to defend properly with your arms literally against your body. This rule penalises the art of defending way too much and gives too much benefit to the attacker.
Rio will agree completely at HT just watch, and he knows a thing or two about defending.

Wouldn't be surprised if most people just don't dare to change their opinion since they probably argued till death that the Kimpembe one was a penalty.
Fernandinho is such a cnut.
Stadium is amazing tbh but pitch doesn't look good.
Spurs and Liverpool fans not liking a penalty given for united or one against spurs.Nail on head.
It is a pen based on the rules of the game (which should be changed) but that has nothing to do with VAR because it is one of the best features they have added. This season in Portugal I can't even count the amount of points that would have been lost because of a bad referee call if not for VAR.Then we'd lose the final, I guess? Our set piece deliveres have been an absolute joke.
Oh I agree that VAR is a great addition yeah, no doubt. Has worked pretty well in Belgium as well although there are still some inconsistencies which need to be ironed out.It is a pen based on the rules of the game (which should be changed) but that has nothing to do with VAR because it is one of the best features they have added. Yeah I agree, they need to work on the pitch a bit over the summer.Stadium is amazing tbh but pitch doesn't look good.

Rio Ferdinand and basically every footballer who discussed it said they thought the rule is incredibly harsh and that it shouldn't be a penalty.
The rule needs changing. It's not the referees fault because they're just following the stupid rulebook, and that needs to change before it comes in to the PL.
I was supporting United in the game against PSG, will be supporting you against Barcelona as well. Still thought it was a stupid, shit penalty.

Jermaine jenas is such a prick...
Ya that's what I am saying people are complaining about VAR on here for no reason based on a few games.Oh I agree that VAR is a great addition yeah, no doubt. Has worked pretty well in Belgium as well although there are still some inconsistencies which need to be ironed out.
It must be said, for a side who “can be got at”, City have defended really well. Especially at set pieces.
Lets see what Rio says, to all those that think it’s a penalty.
In my very biased view I thought Sterling was lucky to escape a yellow for holding Son, Otamendi lucky to escape a yellow for a hatchet job on Kane and Fernandinho lucky (like he is every single time he plays) to escape a yellow/red for an intentional follow-through with his hand on Kane's head.
Getting away with stuff like this for yearsHe intentionally elbowed Kane on the back of his head.
Shouldn't that be a straight red card?
