UEFA Champions League Quarter Final fixtures (9th - 10th, 16th - 17th April 2019)

That shot of City’s players warming up is terrifying.

Just another look at the bench :D

Kompany
Stones
KDB
Sane
Jesus
Foden
Muric

Compared to Spurs...

Sanchez
Wanyama
Llorente
Foyth
Gazzaniga
Moura
Davies

Every single one of those City outfield players walks into the squad of any other team in the league. Not sure any of Spurs do besides Moura & maybe Sanchez.

You can imagine the response if we started cheering in here when Pogba or Rashford gets injured...
Sem to remember a lot of people defending Michael Owen for saying Liverpool players should intentionally injure rashford.

Agree on kane though, doesn't affect united anyway.

Mahrez is maybe not the player he was at Leicester so far. But I would like to have here such a player on the bench and have another player of Bernardo Silva quality starting. The reality is Mahrez would be a key player here but not starting for City...

In fairness Spurs don't have an unlimited amount of money like City do. Plays a huge part in City's squad depth

City have Sane, Jesus and KDB to bring on. We have Scott McTominay and Lingard.

What? No one of that City bench would start at Liverpool apart from De Bruyne.

Squad, not first XI. Every one of them walks into our squad.

(Also, I'd take Stones at CB over Matip/Lovren - Gomez's injury record scares me).

What a ball that was from Ederson to set up that bit of play. Can't stand him but that was really good.

What do you expect from Spurs fans. Cant win a cup/title so they put themselves top of the moral league.

Yeah. That's definitely it.

Or maybe just the fact that no matter what club you support, most people don't really like it when people openly revel at the sight of somebody hobbling off hurt and proclaim how delighted they are about it.

I'd say the same if it was Aguero coming off. Celebrating somebody else's injury is a scumbag move, especially when it's a recurring one like it is with Kane.

I didn’t wish Kane an injury, especially a serious, reoccurring one but it’s done now and it massively boosts United's CL hopes.

So feck it — I’m happy.

Well yeah obviously? If they're in the City squad they'd also be in any other squad since they have the strongest one, won't they? :D

City are going to score if Spurs can't retain the ball better.

But they were playing better without him....

That's what I'm saying :D It's crazy the difference between them & us normal lot.
