UEFA Champions League Quarter Final fixtures (9th - 10th, 16th - 17th April 2019)

Does no Liverpool fan actually watch their own team? I understand the sentiment but then go all the way with it!

I'll always watch the more interesting match. If Liverpool/Burnley is on at the same time as the Barca/Madrid, I'm watching the latter.

To me they appear to have been coasting for the past few games. Just hope the sheer number of fixtures doesn’t catch up with them, need them to win the league.
I think they went for a draw tonight which might be their undoing.

Definite penalty for Porto and not given.

What the feck is the point of VAR? Salah escaping a clear red :wenger::wenger:

Fecking hell I think Salah is lucky not to get red on a review there. Nasty challenge.

Salah got away with that there. Easily could’ve been red.

And Salah should have been sent off

Pep's away record in the KOs since about 2011 really isn't all that tbh.

Reminds me a bit of when Barca lost 1-0 to Chelsea in 2012 and everyone thought they'd easily turn it around in the second leg, didn't happen.

Spurs do need Kane out there for the second leg though which looks in doubt.

Porto have been robbed. Why the hell is Mateo Lahoz refereeing a CL quartefinal?

Not true. If City don't score over the two legs then Spurs will go through.

I don't see City not scoring at home at least once or twice. Spurs have done a great job keeping this clean sheet thus far. 2-1 loss could still see Spurs through though

You'd have to wonder how a professional ref looks at a challenge that involves a player blatantly putting his studs to the shin and saying "nope, nothing in that". It's like a ref arbitrarily just looking at a player removing his shirt and going "nope, not a yellow for me". There's a few things that the rules are very clear about and he's looked right at it and said "nah, not for me".

You see how eriksen was calm right there. Do you know that pogba would have either shot there or tried to dribble Igor before being dispossessed?

Almost shed a tear at how easily llorente held the ball up and brought midfielders into play there. Haven't seen that at United since zlatan left.

Sane and KDB coming on way too late. Bit of a desperation act.
