UEFA Champions League Quarter Final fixtures (9th - 10th, 16th - 17th April 2019)

What about Chelsea with:
Chelsea Chelsea Chelsea.

I guess they have Come on you Blues too.
Chelsea don't make enough noise but Spurs do that "oh when the spurs, go marching in" song with the slowest, most drawn out build up you've ever heard, goes on for about 10 minutes and fecking does your head in.

Waiting until the 89th minute to bring Sane and De Bruyne on is one of the weirdest managerial decisions I've seen all year

I dont understand these decisions pro Liverpool.

Remember last year against City.

They are going to get the bloody double. I almost don't want us to play them because I know they are going to win after VAR giving them stuff or not clear stuff for us. It is going to hurt too bloody much. Barca are corrupt enough to resist all the money Liverpool pay the VAR team.

Definitely deserved win for Spurs, really good performance. City seemed happy with a draw tbh and then couldnt adapt after they conceded.

Even if City get through this, I can still see them losing in the semi.

What was the point of bringing on Sane and KdB 2 minutes before regular time?

pogba bashing even when he's not playing. you guys couldn't wait until tomorrow at least?
Don’t think I can watch tomorrow to be honest. Just gonna be us playing tumescent shit trying to survive. Making sure to get the pogba slander in a day earlier.

I think City are pretty content with the 1-0 loss really. Didn't seem like Pep was really that fussed about it anyway.

Well played spurs, one of them nights, should have had sane and KDB on 25 mins earlier

Noce result for Spurs. Dont know what Pep was thinking, City was harmless throughout. Spurs score at City and will be in a great position.

Football isn't that simple. You buy decent players and suddenly you're great. He wouldnt be a first coach who works well with a shoe string budget only to disapear in a big club..
Yes, you are right. Lets underrate Poch now and pretend that he would be bad choice. It is easier that way.

Get in.

Shame about Liverpool. At this point you just assume they will get one dodgy decision a game. Basically start one goal up.

Liverpool own VAR. fecking hell and people think they will get less favors next season.
I've said it before with VAR it's not going to be used to really make the right decisions more protect certain teams and help certain desired results. Those getting giddy over it coming to the Premier League will be in for a rude awakening when it's chalking off marginal goals against them and letting everything still go there way. There's a huge push for Liverpool to win the league and be relevant again and it's not just their ex-players in the media.

We've given ourselves a decent chance now of making the semis. If we score just once in the away leg - and I fancy us to do that even without Kane - then City will have to score 3 times without reply to go through ...

The tie is still evenly balanced, but we're as good as position as we could have realistically hoped for against a very strong team that some claim is the best in Europe.
