UEFA Champions League Quarter Final fixtures (9th - 10th, 16th - 17th April 2019)

Feck off

Same situation as the Keita one against Southampton. Barely any contact whatsoever and the player 'fouled' makes a total meal of it.

Should be booked.

Not said I think it should be a pen - just that I've seen them given. You know as well as anyone that VAR can award penalties for any old shite nowadays :smirk:

I assume we look like shit?

Getting into the game a bit more, but not had a shot on target yet.

They really need to change this fecking blocking or pushing with no attempt to get the ball rule.

True, but ones like that should never be given now we have VAR. If multiple people in a box honestly look at that and go 'yeah, that's enough contact' then we're in serious trouble!

I think Ashley Young needs to leave United for his own safety.

The way the match day thread is going, an angry mob could turn up at his doorstep any day now.

What a ball from Rashford. Dalot should've done better.

Alba :lol::lol::lol:

United have probably been the better team after a poor start. Liverpool must be looking at Barca's back 4 and thinking, we'll hound the life out of them atm.

Stuck at work so can't watch any game. How are Ajax and United doing?

United are having the better of the game right now. If not for a great pass, good header & lucky deflection, you wouldn't be behind. Probably had the best chances of the half besides that & the one save DDG had to make.

In before "SIIIIIII" spam bumps the Ronaldo thread.

Are Juventus wheeling out Ronaldo for the CL games knowing the league is wrapped up? seems he just pops up and scores in this when it comes around.

Barcelona haven’t been anything special here. Feels like they’ve got mistakes in them.

Funny how Ajax' defence just decides to stop marking him. He's on the penalty spot with no one in a 2 meter radius. How the feck.

Ronaldo after last years CL final

"The Champions League should change its name and call itself the CR7 Champions League.."

He got injured during the international break. Played in every Serie A match before that

Ughhh come on UNITED at least win 2-1 somehow.

I wish people in the media would stop talking about VAR like it's fecking skynet ffs it's an official watching the telly not some AI that aced the Turing test.
