UEFA Champions League Quarter Final fixtures (9th - 10th, 16th - 17th April 2019)

The absolute state of Young. Never looked comfortable on the ball. Clueless.

It's one of life's biggest mysteries how he keeps starting games for us. And, he is the frigging captain.

We started so brightly. All undone now!

You needed 2 goals to win - you still need 2 goals to win. Could still happen.

Great goal from Messi though.

Juve/Ajax game is pretty quiet so far.

De Gea turns to shit the moment he leaves the UK

Ajax had the best chance of the game so far. Damnit. COME ON AJAX!

Barca vs Liverpool is the first confirmed CL semifinal.

Sadly we have Jones and Young "defending" for us. Although the 2nd goal is all on DDG

I got a feeling this could end a Juve vs Barca final potentially.

Dreadful mistake from De Gea. Hasn't looked quit as good this season as he has previously. Admittedly, he set a very high bar for himself and has made some world class saves again this season but mistakes are starting to creep in

When did Messi and Ronaldo last have a direct duel in CL? 2011? Probably overdue one more match up.
Yep. Also probably there last chance to face in a major final.

Would be a telling finale and a good way to "close" the rivalry.

Well 2009 in the final to be exact.

It's not the goals it's that we are incapable of playing through the Barcelona press. Another coaching fundamental lacking both the players and coaches are responsible for.

Call it what you will but I don't see how Solskjaer can take this club any further, this has nothing to do with recent results there's nothing since he's came to signify being a success long term. We have had a mixture of good luck and bad performances in our best run.

A bit too early to predict a Juve/Barca final. We give Barca one hell of a run for their money, and Ajax are doing better than Juve so far.

Personally think it's more likely to be City vs Liverpool.
That would be quite shocking to say the least.

Would also be a great final the best 2 teams in England fighting for the league and then for the CL final.
