UEFA Champions League Quarter Final fixtures (9th - 10th, 16th - 17th April 2019)

I think Poch has made a huge mistake putting Llorente on over Skipp. Not only does it significantly reduce your counter attacking threat which City were struggling to deal with but it forces you to put Alli back into a defensive minded role and he's a liability there. It's had consequences all over the entire park. The like for like sub was the way to go because the system was working.

Our fullbacks are garbage. Son is a God. Sissoko getting injured is an absolute disaster.

If I survive this next 45 minutes it will be an amazing accomplishment.

Great half of football. Spurs is like crawling through the finishing line. I don’t think they will hold out, this city side is too good and there is not a lot of team that can stop them when they play like this.

Plus, they have Sane, Jesus and Mahrez still on bench to change the game, while Spurs has no one. The game was already decided before the whistle blew.

City are gonna fluke it again. Kane now sissoko out. So much luck for city and Liverpool this season.

It's a tough call. Skipp is an 18 year old kid, would be asking a lot to stick him in there.

Terrible injury and replacement. Pace and press gone from upfront now with that Spainish lump.

City to score another 2.

City seemed to be getting stronger after that initial blitz. Even before the Sissoko injury.

Not sure of how good Forth is

Don't know why one of the 'local lads' playing for City didn't just pick Sissoko off the pitch......oh wait

Impressed with spurs and Poch, I think city just have the quality to get them over the line but nonetheless spurs always a threat, best player is injured and they are just as potent. We have Pogba out and the rest of the team are diobolical beginning to think Jose finishing 2nd was perhaps the greatest achievement in the last decade or so .

Watching Liverpool really does my head in. 14 shots, no goals for Porto, then Liverpool go up the other end and score from their first shot.

I don’t even rate Winks but Spurs are crying out for that sort of player. They just couldn’t control the game when needed - no one to hold the ball and settle things down.

Spurs may have to consider selling Kane. Son turns into a Messi/Ronaldo hybrid when he’s out of the way. They genuinely look a better side with him as the focal point.

Llorente sub was a disaster. Couldn’t be less suited to this game.

There’s another 3-4 goals here for City. Rose looks shot of confidence and Trippier is League of Ireland level. Spurs are toast.

Sanchez and play with 3 at the back.

True. I think whatever we did, we'd have been losing a lot of initiative.

Very disappointed with Trippier, Eriksen and Dele. If we'd kept it to 2-2....i can't see us stopping them from scoring another. The question is whether we can score again or not.

Fecking Mane. Porto have been all over Liverpool in the first half.
Its freaking amazing how many important goals he scores for Liverpool, yet its that diving Salah who gets all the accolades. City/Spurs vs Ajax should be a fun couple of games though.
