UEFA Champions League Quarter Final fixtures (9th - 10th, 16th - 17th April 2019)

Currently having a 'who can celebrate loudest' competition with my next door neighbour who is a) a knobhead and b) supports Spurs. I think I'm currently winning as I've cheered fecking loudly once more than his two times. Don't even care that much about the result. Spurs fans just get on my tits.

This made me laugh!

Hope you're saving up a humongous, block disturbing scream for when City get the overall winner.

Great game as a neutral, City to go through, Spurs wont be able to hang on for another half. Who is even in midfield now, Wanyama and Alli ?

United went out pathetically 4 - 0 to Barca. At least Spurs are making a game of our tie.
And united have also won multiple trophies and do not bottle year after year. We admit our squad is not that great and that's why there is gulf in quality but you have a very good starting 11 better than us and yet bottle year after year.

Not a chance City aren’t scoring in the second half. Spurs need another.

Spurs will score again.. I'm sure of that. Laporte has been atrocious and Ederson. If we go out it will be on pure lack of bottle by those two.
Mendy and David Silva haven't been great either.

Man I wish we'd went for Son instead of Mahrez, although Levy probably would have wanted half the oil in Abu Dhabi its a deal worth taking.

I am just thinking. I know it is Liverpool and stuff but to see Fraudiola winning CL would be nightmare for me

I know what you’re saying and I don’t disagree that we should be far better than we are.

But the “grumble grumble, fecking Utd” every time City or Liverpool score a goal, when we’re not even fecking involved, is tiresome.

And is it a Utd forum these days? Doesn’t feel like one. Feels like a footy forum populated by Chelsea, City, Utd, Liverpool, Spurs and Arsenal fans.
Please don’t get to the point where you need to create another thread like your last one. Please.

Did Mendy win a competition from special camp to play for City? I swear to god he's not even related to a footballer.

Why did he just sat Son will miss the first leg of the next round because of the yellow?
About 15 mins ago he said all yellows are wiped after this round

According to experts on here, he was the best FB because they saw him put in a good cross before he joined city.

I want Spurs to go through.

But then I see Glaston arguing in the thread as usual instead of enjoying and supporting his team along.

I’m conflicted.

They are wiped if they don't pick up the number of yellows needed for a suspension before the round is over.

It's a compete myth that he's good at cross, he literally hits it as hard as he can. City load the box so it some times finds a target. He's technical ability and intelligence is that of a brick.

There's no conflict here at all. Spurs could be on the brink of stopping all talk of the City quadruple. Get behind them.

Oh yes, for that reason I am behind them.

That’s before I saw Glaston just start arguing with United fans needlessly then remembered how easily he gets wound up.

I’m conflicted internally as I can’t decide which I would relish more: stopping city or seeing him wound up

Bringing on Llorente for Sissoko has really hurt Spurs. It's like they are down to 10. City look like they'll score any second.

City need to score so they can come back when Spurs catch them on the break again.
