Fantasy Premier League 18/19

Thoughts on this team please, in a close run thing in my friends money league so any help would be appreciated. Thinking I may just bank or could swap out Guaita for Gunn the Southampton GK but willing to listen to any ideas!

Guaita
Laporte TAA Robertson
Redmond Deulofeu Pogba Salah
Rashford Aguero Lacazette

Subs: Tielemans, Duffy, AWB

Considering Guatia --> Gunn and Tielemans ---> Jota for a -4

Or other option is Pogba ---> Son and Tielemans ---> Cheaper Mid

Or even Rashford to ----> Jiminez

Captain choices?

Thinking Duffy out for Kolasinac. Any better options for 5.0?

Jiménez
Raheem
Salah
Mané
Pogba

For your second question - Look to Watford and Wolves...

damn page break! who's playing bench boost this gameweek then?

Yeah, I'm pulling the fecking trigger.

This is a huge GW - the biggest in this FF season I reckon.

It's the GW that will see big turn-arounds and a few surprise hauls I reckon.

I'm weighing up taking a -16 to put out this team...

Please note, BB active -

----------------Kepa----Foster----------------
Coady----TAA----Monreal----Smith----Peltier
Mané----Son----Hazard----Sterling----Tielemans
----Jiménez-------Lacazette-------Wilson----

Is it worth taking -4 to swap hazard to sterling? My plan is to get Salah in for Huddersfield so sterling or hazard would make way anyway... Just not sure if it's better to leave hazard in this week or not...

Sterling or de Bruyne ? Or neither? I have hazard & Mane currently. Tempted by Doucoure or Redmond

Yes - Hazard will likely start on the bench and if not I have a very strong feeling he'll blank.

Unsettled by Madrid and Sarri likes to make examples of players, played on Thursday and took and a knock.

My team is currently (bench boost)
Ryan, Foster
Laporte, TAA, Doherty, Cathcart, Valery
Mane, Eriksen, Son, Martial, JWP
Aguero, Vardy, Jimenez.

All two games except mane, TAA and Vardy.
I am worried about the lack of sterling. I could remove martial and vardy for sterling + cheap striker (llorente)?

Who to captain lads?

Options: Aguero, Sterling, Son, Lacazette, Jimenez, Mane, Jota.

Logic: City have to go full strength now surely but I’m worried for the classic Pep rotation with Sterling and Aguero playing lots of minutes lately. Lacazette and Jimenez are the strongest options outside of that but both have been rotated recently too.

I'm putting it on Aguero. He's less likely to drop him with the two crucial games and as we all know, Aguero is a big game player.

Going for KDB myself. Thought he was amazing in the week.

Vardy or Fraser to play? I just know if i go with Vardy, Fraser'll finish the week with probably 1 goal & 2 assists as he always does when i put him to the bench. He blanks for weeks and weeks when i put him in the 11 but when i get frustrated with him and get him out he always gets 12, 15, 16 pts or something like this.

Taking a -4 to bring in Trippier last week was such a mistake. Didn't play against Huddersfield and not even on the bench today. Useless cnut.

Which means he will definitely start against Brighton at home - which should normally by a CS. You only lose out on 1 game. I had him on WC last GW so imagine my state

What a fecking season. Bought in KdB and he's injured now.

Take him out now or wait? KdB -> Sterling is a straight swap for me atm.

With Sterling, Aguero, KDB, Eriksen and Son in my team the midweek thriller would have given me, what, 50ish points on its own if it had happened in the PL?

Of course the actual PL game brings an Aguero assist and a KDB injury. Typical.

fecked mate. Fpl season over I guess.

Had it on Jimenez all week, feel like it was a reckless move to change it in hindsight but I thought he’d be a differential and was swayed by his performance against Spurs.

Only thing going in our favour is that a few of the main options have blanked - can’t see Son keeping quiet against Brighton but hopefully we can shut out City somehow.

Took a - to bring in Son and Rashford, but then also on a bench boost realised I might as well switch injured Schlupp to Boly, who even if he gets 2x2 equalisd the extra -4.

Aguero cap - moderate pay off, but no Sterling goal which was the risk.

We'll see how it pans out. A rival took a -15! Madness.

Feared a late goal to ruin my Wolves and Brighton defender cleanies, but phew, it was Watford's ruined instead.

Classic fantasy footy though - a lot of us captain Duffy in 2 chimpy games, and he does nothing.
Then has a tougher away game - obvious clean sheet!

Duffy / Ryan getting a clean sheet after I ship them out for a -4 :drool:

Nah it was a decent move. He was the form player along with Sterling going into this gw and a great differential. Can't legislate for an injury.

My luck has gone to shit the last few weeks. Annoying really because I'd been patient and planned everything really well. That's fpl I guess.
