Another stunning move
Anywhere else on the field that is dangerous play and the offending player gets a red card. Can’t believe keepers are legally allowed to challenge like that. He was flying through the air with both fists extended.
It's sad that this Ajax side will be broken up in the summer.
I agree with you.
That said, you won't get much sympathy from neutral fans on this one. A top PL side against a side from the Netherlands? Even with the caveats of Tottenham not spending much and being hit hard by injury, the narrative will only go one way if this holds, unfortunately.
This is why we need impartial medical staff on match days.I can't imagine that the club doctor really cleared him twenty seconds before he became sick like that. Managers have to stop putting pressure on the medics. It's just fecking football, you pricks.
(If that's what happened, but I'm guessing that he would've shown some evidence of concussion before he came off)
I think that's a good idea.Needs a neutral adjudicator to judge for head injuries. Dunno if it's feasible but it'd be sensible.
I think it is the plan, Ajax clearly playing the better football, so we were never gonna outplay them. We have played with three at the back a few times and it always seems to end up with a lot less of the ball.
Nobody has mentioned so I have to. We're so awful compared to Ajax. Disgusting.
Excuses excuses.
Spurs' team looks squeezed to the max depth-wise and fatigue-wise.
Rose and Trippeir have been dire.
So not plan. Spurs are trying to keep the ball but Ajax's work rate and pressing as a team is very good.
Yeah god imagine making dumb excuses like 'we're missing our two star attackers' or 'Wanyama is actually having to play and is the worst player on the pitch'. You know, totally valid reasons.
Its shit. You want these kind of occasions to have all the star players on the field, we have almost none of ours. If Liverpool were playing Barcelona without Salah, Mane, Fabinho and Wijnaldum I'd be saying the exact same thing.
Yep. The NFL has this.Needs a neutral adjudicator to judge for head injuries. Dunno if it's feasible but it'd be sensible.
Can't believe it!Oh its been mentioned
It's Ajax, not Barcelona.
