Champions League Semi Finals (30th April - 8th May)

I've never got this. You can give 100% on the pitch and score a hattrick but still not celebrate the goals openly just out of a show of respect for a club which did big things for you and your career.

Liverpool gave Suarez the platform, they protected him when he was in trouble (t-shirts FFS!) and treated him like a hero. I don't think it's that hard for him to make a small gesture by not celebrating, I'd expect the same from Bale if he scored vs us.

Sure but nationality plays a big thing in it. Did Berbatov ever score against you guys and celebrate? I can't remember.

Edit: Bad example, guy never celebrated anyway.

Messi is turning it on big style.

Barca have no pace in midfield though.

I dont see why being happy about scoring a goal shows any 'disrespect' towards your old club.

Suarez giving it the full Pippo Inzaghi celebration has conclusively and eternally disproved the old "two wrongs don't make a right" adage

"That's brilliant, intelligent defensive play. Saved himself a decent amount of energy not pushing forward, which will come in handy in the second half" - Gary Neville, somewhere.
 He’s actually been silently dominating Suarez all game

I may have been wrong about this Barca. So many chances. Thought liverpool would nullify them.
People always underrate them and while they're not what they were, any time you have the best player of all time playing for you, you're going to be one of the favourites. Against anyone. Especially at the Nou Camp. That's why us losing 3-0 away to them was very "meh", it was expected.

I can't decide is this Klopp's tactic excellent or shit? I mean he put pressure on Barca at Nou Camp. But all that empty space in defence.....

Mane gonna Mane.

His finishing is woeful sometimes.

Tactically you lot look very off today. Klopp has to change something or it could turn out bad for you.
He does it in every big away game. My only grievance this season. We look much better when we don’t tinker with stuff

Not sure tbh.

But I think there's few players in the entire world who have ever been given the level of backing Suarez was at Liverpool. The whole club rallied around and shielded him.

This Barca team looks very determined and solid. Another treble?
