It's rushed I agree, such is nature of trying to wrap up such a big story before time. That has led to a reduction in the quality of the storytelling.

You're posting a shit meme like format as an argument for the arc because any sort of logical argument falls apart under scrutiny.
Go through the list of everyone she kills and do you see a theme?
Her brother - Evil and abused her
The couple she locked underground - Conspired against her and her children
Crucified slave owners whilst liberating the city
"Burns people alive" - Like the witch who killed her husband and child? The Dothraki generals who were murderers themselves? The Lannister general who she gave a chance to kneel to her?
She's always been tough when it comes to punishing those who wronged her, but she's never unleashed her wrath on civilians, those are who she has always been about protecting.
Oh don't forget at the last example she gave a big speech about how she wasn't here to burn cities down or kill wives/children. Forget all the stuff she said about not being the queen of ashes, or not being like her father. Of course putting any of that into your shit meme format might actually provide a more balanced perspective on why the character arc is complete nonsense.
So far the only two arguments for Danys shit arc are "She's gone mad", which she hasn't. And "She's done bad things like this before", which she hasn't.

Xaro Xhoan Daxos is the guy that arranged to have her dragons stolen by the creepy warlocks and the servant of Daenerys who was meant to be one of her friends who betrayed her. How exactly are either innocent? What were they expecting?
Crucifying the masters, I think that's probably the worst thing she's done. Granted some of those people deserved death, but she didn't judge them case by case. She made the error of tarring all of them with the same brush.
Burns people time and time again. She burns her enemies but they were always soldiers. The only person she's burnt that wasn't a soldier was that slaver back in Season 5 and Varys in this episode. Two people, 1 of which in Varys seems to have betrayed her. A justified kill. So it's basically the slaver that seems like an over reactional kill. I know people are quick to jump on the "she burned the Tarlys!!" Rewatch the scene, it was suggested they bend the knee, they didn't. It was suggested they go to the Nights Watch and Lord dickface said he wouldn't. They are at war, he's a military leader whos disobeying her.
I think the problem people seem to have is her method of execution.
They've ruined his character over the last few seasons, at first you are rooting for him now you just want him to die.
Even the actress and actors of the show have said this season was bad.

The people she killed was always with good intentions in mind though, that was her whole deal that she wasn't going to be like her father.
Good post. She's always been rational and has made some mistakes but she's admitted that too. That's not a sign of insanity. If she was she wouldn't know the difference between good and bad which I think she clearly does.
