Noticeable difference technically wise between england and the dutch. Englands midfield is terrible. The dutch then have de jong and de roon controlling things.

Frenkie played an incredibly good match and ran 14 kilometer before being subbed off, hopefully the fatigue at the end of such a long season will not lead to some dramatic injury against Portugal.

Some appalling errors, but the Dutch played a lot better than us and deserved the win. Rice, Barkley and Delph couldn't get near De Jong.
You can see it that way. I know you really like Smalling, but I struggle to see pure quality defenders available for England. Maybe Gomes will develop into a top defender, but apart from Alexander-Arnold and maybe Shaw, there is hardly quality available.

Well this was a nothing game and everybody was just tired and in need of a holiday, but there was some entertainment there. In the end I just watched for Frenkie.

Some huge gifts from England. We've looked dodgy all game from playing out the back so I think the manager should've instructed to stop it in extra time.
