Internationals June (Euro Qualifiers + Nations League Finals)

Just checked after City's last defeat at Newcastle in January, Stones played in 8 games of their 14 match win streak, 4 of them the full 90 minutes. One of them against Spurs at home the 1-0.

I thought Kompany started playing alongside Laporte in the business end. Fair enough then. They'll need to upgrade for sure.

At what stage will England fans realise they're not good enough to play it from the back? It almost flecked them against Colombia and couldn't get anywhere against Croatia's midfield last summer.
Why play like Pep when the Klopp style is more realistic?

Uncomfortable truth has been that Pickford has been England’s best player since Rashford went off and it could have been a hammering without him. They have had a lot of chances. Pickford has made a lot of saves.

Might as well put Smalling at the back there, he'll at least just hoof it or kick it out of bounds instead of straight to the opposition strikers :lol:

Pretty much sums up why I hope the transfer targets aren’t, “hungry British”. They’re average.

2 stupid goals given away from Southgates obsession with playing it out from the back in every situstion

:lol::lol::lol:

Portugal should announce martial law at this point because the drunk ogres will be mad tonight.
:lol: poor brits the weather is terrible too but they'll probably hang around till sunday and stink up downtown!

Someone tell Southgate, you also need players who can actually defend not just pass from back

Kane been shite. Doesn’t suit this England side when they try to press or play on the counter.

Embarrassing. What's the excuses Gaz "We had no friendlies beforehand, players still recovering from CL final, I forgot to pack my waistcoat so the FA gave me this school jumper!"
