You can read the article, they're hardly difficult to spot. But the only concrete thing she's right about in that article is that they received more sympathy and attention because they're relatively attractive women. All the other wokeioms she's thrown out are just vacuous window dressing.

I'm more interested in why it took a month for the news of the attack to come out. Why neither of the girls can remember clear details about any of it, particularly "how it started". Why they reported to the press that the men were in their 20s and 30s but a group of kids were eventually arrested. And why the police waited a month to appeal for witnesses to an attack, after it had been in the press, but without providing any descriptions of the attackers or cctv footage, despite the attack taking place on a nightbus with a dozen cctv cameras on board.

Dont know how i missed this whopper, but no. There’s just a natural limit to how much my eyes can roll. Obviously not a problem you have to worry about with quality burns like this.

I'm just glad hobbers is here to ask the real questions. How on earth do people forget things after a fight? That's, like, literally unheard off. Getting hit on the head only makes your memory better. And my god, a month for this to go public? How does that even happen, we find out about every single violent crime straight away. It's just impossible, something weird is happening here.

But since I like dropping pebbles... do you think that two young attractive girls with blood on their face getting disproportionate media coverage relative to other violent crimes, homophobic or otherwise, has a clear causal link to the existence of a heteronormative cisgendered white supremacist patriarchal capitalist colonialist tyranny? Do you think the police only turned up and did their jobs because the victims were white and cisgendered?

You got the causal link the wrong way round. The attack itself and the media treatment thereafter is symptomatic not causal. I would agree with her though: people who are different are more likely to suffer persecution and their stories more likely to be ignored while trials of fit white women continue to be the more marketable commodity.

Not one quote within the article that actually suggests that he was sacked for Islamophobia. All it says is that what he posted was offensive, which he acknowledged, and he was removed as a result. All seems a bit ridiculous to lose his job over it but the headline is pure clickbait.

Absolutely ridiculous, should never have ended up with the hearing in the first place let alone leading to his sacking.

They're acting like he shared some violent far-right material rather than a popular comedian doing a stand up piece about religion.

It kinda makes me wonder whether he was a poor employee and they used this as an excuse to get rid, because it seems incredibly harsh. I might just be being naive though.

I don't think that's a case of PC gone mad, I mean it's at least worth a debate hence why you are asking that question. Understandably Kaepernick wouldn't be keen on it and Nike as a private company probably don't want any association with the American Nazi Party either.
 
They can keep an image of GW and the eagle ;) but yeah, the two flags.....
I think Nike backed down here and Kaepernick is allowing the nazis to own the 13 star flag.

Some of my best friends (yeah, I went there :boring:) have 13 star flags that they fly each July 4th and they're not Nazis, just proud that they're living in one of the original colonies.

That's my point though. It's got nothing to do with nazis, or at least shouldn't. By even bringing them up CK has let them take that flag.

I like the design on the shoes so if they've already made them I'll take a pair; size 11 please and another pair size 11, extra wide, for my son :)

Im sure I saw they were already sent out to stores. Nike has asked for them to be returned, so Im sure youll be able to grab a pair or two on ebay soon for few million bucks :lol:.
