I think so. I don't think he's as invested in building the squad further than this, happy to just see Eriksen, Alderweirald Vertonghan go in a year because he probably won't be there either.

I think his frustration is that these players haven't been binned off with the fees recouped being handed to him to replenish and rejuvenate the squad. Levy has really played a blinder here.....
Think they'll have a bit of a down season but still get top 4 and be solid enough in the end. They've definitely peaked with him though IMO, and while Lo Celso and Ndombele are very good signings addressing their lack of midfield previously, they still lack something in there. Doesn't necessarily mean he'd leave, but I think he might want to. He did really well to turn them into consistent 3rd place finishers, but it'll need something different to get them to be more than that, and that just needs time and more and more investment and more rebuilds to push on. Not sure he's that committed to Spurs to see that through (or if he can even reach that level).

Hope Real go for Jose instead, but you'd think Poch would be nailed on. But I'd be surprised if Poch walks away mid season, unless things go really badly.
Football is a crazy game. Months ago he was in a Champions League final with it all looking great for Spurs.

They’ve finished 3rd twice in 30 years, but I agree that he’s done well for them to be considered a “top” team, with most predicting top 4.
Hope we get him. Opportunity to get a manager like him doesn’t come around often.
CL masked their PL form, they been pretty shit since January.
I thought they peaked about 2 years and have been on a slow decline ever since, even with getting to a CL final. Ali hasn't kicked on, full backs have dropped off and midfield has been a growing problem. Does Poch really want to commit to a rebuild over a new challenge elsewhere with less of a ceiling on their upper level.
Yea, I believe so as well. At least there will no longer be a top six. More of a top five now. But, then again, Poch left a good foundation. So, unless Spurs gets their next appointee wrong, they can still be competitive.
Time to move on. He reached peak last year there. Madrid will be his next club i guess
I can see his time coming to an end. He's had a period where he's got the group playing phenomenally well, but with Spurs wage structure and the lack of investment I think they'd need to spend a lot and spend it well to get their competitive edge back; at a time where Levy won't be spending hundreds of millions.
With Eriksen, Walker, Trippier, Alderweireld, Verthongen, Dembele, Rose and Wanyama having either left or likely being in their final seasons it's going to be very difficult. For example the chances of Winks, Ndombele, Lo Celso and Sanchez hitting the heights of Wanyama, Dembele, Eriksen and Alderweireld is remote in my view. Then add to that the need to replace both full backs and bring in another centre back and you have a big project.
You also have to wonder with Harry Kane hitting 27 at the end of the season whether he'll be looking for a huge final 5 year deal (£100m) with the chance of winning trophies elsewhere. I wasn't one or the people who every Summer predicted he'd leave, but you'd think if he were ever to leave it would be at 27 or 28 for one final contract.
They've been on a downward trend for a few seasons in truth:

It looks like the wheels are coming off at Spurs, what with the indifferent form which began last season and followed them into the current one, Levy refusing to pay his stars their market worth (resulting in a mass exodus from the club) and the Poch looking out of ideas on how to remedy the situation. He should jump ship before his reputation begins to take a hit and take the Real job which will inevitably become available before long.
Would be a good scenario for us. He can build on to this team, with a lot of deadwood now gone.

It really was not all fine. If anything the cup run has masked the problems that they had. Their football was average to poor all season, but at the beginning they were getting results and winning some jammy games. It is why they did not have a lot of draws, and since the new year the results started reflecting the performances. This season they have just continued where they left off, and their performance and results have shown that.
Maybe a little stagnation is starting and the cause could be the manager, or players, or both. It is rare to see managers last a long time at clubs in modern football, for whatever reasons, so maybe a fresh start is needed.
I think their squad is good and solid enough to get top 4 comfortably, and are behind only Liverpool and City in quality imo. Although, some of the key players are running out of contract soon. It will be interesting to see the decisions they make.
A manager who has proven he can build a team, work with youngsters and improve players, is an astute tactician. Please let's not use "he hasn't won a trophy" against him - We should have fired LVG and got Klopp when he had the chance and i hope we don't make the same mistake again.

I agree. Poch built his foundation and success at Spurs with almost nothing compared to his rivals. United is like the Disneyland for any manager. He would get much more investment and a flourishing academy to develop players. he would do what Klopp did at Liverpool to United.
Hopefully we grab him if he does.

Poch finishes ahead of Liverpool in his first 4 seasons. It wasn't till Klopp got 400m+ to spend that pool started finishing ahead of Spurs.
It's not that straight forward. Firing Zidane and buying Pochettino out of his contract would cost nearly what Manchester United paid for Maguire. So maybe they would, but there is a huge financial obstacle in place for that to happen.
So you would sack a manager who is doing a good job to replace him with a manager fired for not doing his smart arse?
I want to stick with Ole. Considering his player recruitment acumen, I'm excited to see what happens in another transfer window next summer. Don't expect any business to be done in winter unless we are desperate.

I don't really think Ole is doing a good job nor do I think he'll have done well by the end of the season, and Poch is clearly a far better manager so... Yes?

The likes of Juventus PSG and Bayern have let top managers go to get a better one. Plus Poch won’t be fired, plus Ole isnt doing a particularly good job nor is he a top manager, Poch is.
Eddie Howe will replace him next season.
