Brendan Rodgers | Rejoins Celtic on 3 year deal

Why does this clown always have his suit sleeves really short with massive cuffs sticking out? Still weird.

He's awaiting delivery of cufflinks made out of chandeliers.

Weird how we didn't get any credit for nullifying them. They'll take a shed load of points from the top 6 imo. They're just so dangerous on the break

Still trying to figure out if he has an incredibly small head or an incredibly big nose.
I think it's both.

He's put together a team of wonderful human beings and fantastic technicians. He's always said you can have a burger without cheese, but you can't have a chip butty without chips.

I think he will join a "bigger" team with more pressure in a year or two and it will be a spectacular failure.

the worst thing that could have happened to us last week was an early United goal, as soon as that happened I didn't think we'd get much joy

Going to make a prediction that at some point during the next 1-2 years he will be manager of either Arsenal, Chelsea or Tottenham.

Despite overpaying for Maguire, it was justfied by certain United fans because 'He is better than what we have'.

Rogers is certainly better than what you have.

The difference between Rogers and Ole is far greater than Maguire and Jones/Smalling etc.

My favorite comment on here about him.

"Rodgers hasn't got a clue/ good attacking football with shaky defence every where he's gone (still hasn't figured that part out after all these jobs he's had)"

Since being at the club we have conceded 14 goals in 16 matches. We conceded 23 in the previous 16.
He's done this whilst signing 0 defenders, and selling one, albeit a massively overrated one, for £80 million.

Even this season we've only conceded 5 in 6, despite playing 3 of the top 6 scorers in the league, with a center back who hasn't featured before but looks absolute quality.

The only thing keeping us from the top 6 this season will be our lack of forward options.
Gray isn't good enough, Barnes will be class but is not yet and albrighton isn't a goalscorer.
Hopefully Perez gets a few once he loses the small time mentality Newcastle had.

Fully expect Rogers to get big funds for forwards in January.

And another one.

Agree, he is a good manager and fully expect him to get better.

People would actually take Rodgers as Utd manager. Fecking hell what an embarrassment. The state of the caf. No words.

Ah yes a defence is only shaky when conceding goals otherwise its fine despite being unorganised and conceding chances.....

and as other poster said "another one".

yeah well, my Dad's bigger than your Dad

He's a really good manager and is justifying his move from Celtic very nicely. They're going to be the front-runners for 7th as Watford are fecking shocking this season, Wolves aren't coping with the EL and the league and I reckon they'll sacrifice the league for getting further in Europe, we are looking distinctly below average and West Ham are West Ham. Bournemouth strong candidates for 8th.

I don't think it should be any surprise though. Despite being a caricature his Liverpool side was quality and his Celtic team was nearly invincible. The only question mark for me about him is that he makes some dodgy transfers that don't really work too well like Perez.

What's embarrassing about it? As far as I see it, the only reason not to like the idea is the school yard stuff about him being a former Liverpool manager. He's not my first choice, not even close, but he's a choice if he continues doing a good job at Leicester.

Always felt his Transfers are basically him going on Fifa and picking out the Highly rated young players.

I'm not bitter and currently I'm not angry either

Tbf, I actually think you’re an extremely defensive poster. I saw you being arsey with amol just the other day. Chill, the majority of United fans on here actually have positive things to say about Leicester. I, for one, am a huge fan of what Rodgers is doing there.

It's only 6 games in and I think it's already shaping up to be a funny old season. Outside of the top 6 Leicester probably look the most likely of the teams to break into the top 4. Spurs look/seem deflated and Arsenal/United/Chelsea are all inconsistent and lacking in areas.

Could be a good season for them.

I'm not sure how I feel about that. I like him more than Emery because he can at least organise a style of play, but all the nonsense around him is distracting.

Yeah I wouldn’t have gotten Perez. They needed a winger and still do, they should’ve gone for Sarr who’s a brilliant player but will sadly be wasting away in a relegation dogfight for Watford this season.
