Who are these several key players? Pogba, Martial and who else? Having them would not made much of a difference to our style of play.

As you said, this isn't a team that is being coached the way a top team should be. A change in a couple of personnel isn't going to make any difference.

3 of our back 4, 2 of our midfielders, 2 attacking players. I make that 7 of our 11.

The best two players for us were bought by Ole. Shame Harry's header didn't come off but he's class at the back and driving forward. James is our only forward who poses a threat. Axl has also been very good. Mou would have sold him rather than get him back..m

I think it’s special seeing a CB of his quality playing for us, it’s literally been years since we had someone so assured in the centre of our defence.

It's a sad indictment on the current quality of the world's centre backs when he's the most expensive one.

If he was really that good he wouldn't have signed for a side as shit as ours. His limitations were exposed regularly when at Leicester and they will be even more so in time at United.

Relax guys, we need another 2 billion for our manager to work his magic and make top 4.

I don't think we need to spend 2 Billion.
1 billion should see us get 3rd or 4th and 2 billion should see us get top 3 (possibly 1st place). ;)

Fred and McT are practically playing as defenders.
    Actually Fred is terrible.
    Bring Matic in for him.

Cannot believe what I am seeing.

Of cause we are dire. No midfield.

Play James Garner. He actually showed ability in pre-season.

Matic’s legs have gone and Fred is literally worse than me at football.

It was rhetoric to get people excited to watch us this season.
It's like when an actor is giving interviews for his new movie. He tells everyone that this is the best movie he has ever starred in and that everyone should watch it.
But it turned out to be Troll 2 levels shit.

Painful viewing so far. I mean you can have average players and still play football. Teams like Brighton, Bournemouth and Norwich are bang average man for man, but they still manage to play decent football which is pleasing on the eye.

A lack of quality is only the start of our problems. The players look like they’ve never taken a coaching session. Absolutely no creativity, no one knows where anyone else is without stopping to have a long look first. When you watch other teams, players can play blind passes round the corner or through a defence because they’ve practiced scenarios and know exactly what runs are being made. We just show none of that ability.

I hate our static 3 lines. Where are the little triangles and diamonds? Where is the one-touch football?

Can't we at least try a different fecking formation. I know it's not going to make play like Barca in their pomp, but just try something different.

He sets up the same way every fecking week.

It´s a shame to say this but our current attackers are properly the standard you´d expect at relegation teams. They can not break teams down with or without the ball. They are all very bad with a football at this level. This is pitiful to watch.
I’d genuinely take SO many players over this front 4. Mata and pereira don’t belong in a top half team anymore.

James is busy but lacks quality. Rashford seems broken, we know he has ability but he just seems lost right now.

Even that saint maximan seems a better player than what we have!

No shots on goal, again, correct... unless I misssed one. That's three period's (halves) of football, and Manchester United are unable to produce one shot on goal.

And that has nothing to do with previous managers, or the Board.

Just 1 but that probably doesn't change the point. I don't subscribe to this being a current manager thing though, these players are average at best, the squad needs huge investment.

Can we get a traffic cone out there in Rashfords place, it wouldn't be any worse. It might actually be in the right place in the box occasionally to.

90 minute buildup for the Liverpool game is going to be torture.

Who is realistically available in January? This is just way too poor a squad. Woukd love Zlatan out there instead of Rashford right now.

People said that with two BALL PLAYING defenders, the midfield then doesn't need to drop deep thus allow them to attack more.

I don't see any evidence of this stupid opinion.

When the club has profits of 600million is it? I don’t think any business would see that as failure.

As a sports team however, on field we are a shambles

True...I did mean the sporting side. Give it a decade continuing along these lines though and the financial side will be ruined also.

Just seen the advert for us vs Pool.... we're definitely looking forward to that...:(

3 of our back 4, 2 of our midfielders, 2 attacking players. I make that 7 of our 11.
Meh.. you could make a case for AWB. Don't think Lindelof is any significant improvement over Tuanzebe, who I think has actually played decently.

    This.

You don't need a team full of top-class players to play the basics of attacking football and have shots on target. It's not difficult.

At what point does the players become responsbile for what goes on on the pitch?
