This is the same guy that took a dominant AC Milan team too 11th Place.
Hes done well at Juve because of the inherited team he had.

This just shows how well the clubs 3 -5 year plan is going.
We signed James and AWB with the slogan Youth, Courage, Success.
Now we want to appoint a manager who is like the the one we sacked.. Defensive, prefers to buy older players.
I would like to see the business model Ed has?
Even if we were to accept these as true, I reckon we would still stick with Ole at least until after Chelsea. If we find he has 1 point from the next 3, we can get rid knowing Allegri is keen.
Makes no sense whatsoever, this isn't something that's going to be fixed in 2-5 matches
You either accept that a overhaul is going to take time or you hire someone else because you're desperate for a short term fix
Allegri prefers older players or he prefers a balance?
I'm gonna go full racist on this and say I don't fancy him because he's Italian. It just never seems to be a long term smooth adjustment. Plus he's just taking English lessons now which bodes appallingly and winning stuff with Juventus over recent years is shooting fish in a barrel. It's another closed eyes roll of the dice. Just go for Potter at Brighton and shock the football world.

Yeah because Italian managers in PL have been such flops recentlyI'm gonna go full racist on this and say I don't fancy him because he's Italian. Tbh I haven't seen much of Allegri but from the the AC milan team and more recently Juventus.
Juve have had - Matuidi, Khedira, Cheillini, Bonnuci, Mandzukic etc..
We have tried that with Jose, we went down a different route this summer.
It is just abit annoying if we hire a manager that takes us back 3 seasons.
Yeah Ancelotti was dealt a bad hand. In fact I stand corrected. In retrospect he could have been a proper successor to SAF. Would have commanded the respect to earn more time and surely knew the European transfer market a sight better than David whatsisnameAncelotti and Conte won the PL in their first seasons and Sarri got a respectable top 4 finish plus Europa. Being Italian should actually be a point in favor of him.
ED is a literal child, the club hasn’t learned anything over the last six years, absolute joke, zero long term thinking. This just shows how well the clubs 3 -5 year plan is going.

He bought Pjanic at 24/25 to replace Pogba, he had Sandro at LB who was younger at the time and Bonucci was what, 28 when he joined? And Dybala too. Seems a brilliant balance to me.
Allegri is not Jose. I think that's a lazy assumption.
Do we? Are you beleiving the Daily Mail because you want this to be true, or do you genuinely beleive it?This just shows how well the clubs 3 -5 year plan is going.

No but you have to draw a line somewhere, and in fairness Ole had already passed it

As I said, I haven't seen too much of him.
But reports I have read, it seems he is a negative coach, much like most Italians are quite defensive.
But the positives could be he might be the one to get the best out of a certain Paul Pogba?
I don't think he's as defensive as Jose was, and yes he does have a knack of trying to close out games when he should just go for the jugular. However he's a winner and extremely well rehearsed tactician from what I know. I recall particular praise his way when they dispatched of a rampant Monaco and he switched systems during the game which Monaco couldn't cope with.
Obviously he's not the best of the best, and yes he has issues. But he's miles, miles better than Ole and could be a good option for 2 years, before we look to an attack minded coach. Allegri would be good to build in a system suiting the team best, installing a winning mentality and he undoubtedly has a better way of evaluating talent. We can do a lot worse than him to bring us back up.
Note he's not my first choice but I accept we may need pragmatism before moving to aesthetics.
Sorting this mess out takes time. As i've said before, back when Rodgers were managing Liverpool there wasn't a single person on here who thought that their setup was ideal with the committee and Edwards, now it's the holy grail of solutions.
This would not be an issue if we hired him straight after Ole, but then going to someone who wants to press and play attacking (ewven though Ole has failed) the players will have to adapt again to a different way of playing.
Can you Imagine some of these players have had LVG's possession, Jose's rigidity, Ole's attempt of fluidity and now another style in the space of 4 years?
How do you expect these players to improve?
It seems as if we are linked with him because he is the only option available right now. If there were 5/6 top coaches available, would we be looking at him?
If you're racist enough, not having a mullet can be a race.italian is a race?
I don't think we can lend any credence to this report from the DM. I don't think they are in any hurry to replace Ole, not yet anyway.Sorry, I should say we are linked to one.
Personally, I would leave Ole in charge until the right man is found. There is no point reacting to something, that's what the club have been doing for years.
We seem to be in trouble and then Ed goes into the managerial market.. who is available.. okay we will take him rather than working out a plan.
Allegri is more offensive than all four of our previous managers (if you can even call Ole a manager) but Caf is concerned about his playstyle aestheticsWe create one clear chance a game under Ole and consistenly play two defensive midfielders.
Nothing Allegri does would be more defensive than what Ole does. He'd also be better at being defensive.
italian is a race?
In Serie A....whose bottom half teams are championship level .Allegri is more offensive than all four of our previous managers (if you can even call Ole a manager) but Caf is concerned about his playstyle aesthetics
I know this will not go down well but Allegri's Juve actually scored more goals per match on average than SAF's United.
In Serie A....whose bottom half teams are championship level .
To be fair, we've had an era of dominance not dissimilar to Allegri's Juventus and bottom table PL teams were far more sh*ttier than they're now.In Serie A....whose bottom half teams are championship level .

Sorting this mess out doesn't mean we fight relegation a quarter into the season. You can't hide Ole's poor management with "there will be ups and downs" and "this takes time".
We know it takes time, but we also know our squad is better than what they showed against Astana, Rochdale, West Ham, Newcastle, AZ, etc.
