Premier League Gameweek 16

Great half...but need to keep those counters going for a third. 2 might not be enough today

How did Taylor not give our pen in real time?
He was about 10 yards away and it was super obvious!

It's the worst of this VAR thing, where play went on for ages until the ball was dead, THEN they checked!

Stonewall penalty denied for City... At this point VAR is a joke..

Impressive stuff from MUFC. City will come out all guns blazing second half so they need to be accurate with their counter attacks.

Rashford has been insanely good since that little period when people were berating him. There is no question that he should absolutely be played as a LW/LF now, he's quality there. There aren't many players that can run with the ball with such pace and control as he can, draws fouls and he created that penalty.

We got lucky at the end there. Under the new rules, that was definitely a penalty by Fred.

Apparently United have won one league game in 10 under OGS where they've had more than 50% of the ball this season.

They really are deadly on the counter though

That is why VAR is needed. Some referees are so bad that they dont see it.

Yeah I suppose that way round that's a very fair comment! Without VAR we'd have been stuffed.

But surely any half decent ref could tell that was a pen instantly? We all could!

City have lost it, and they have no luck with the decisions either.

It totally wasn't - and VAR is using the "new" rules!
The hand/arm have to be in an unnatural position, and it wasn't!
If he was waving his hand in the air he couldn't complain.

No luck? They couldn't say our pen was bad luck as Bernado fouled the guy.

It would take luck to get their pen as it wasn't an unnatural position for the arm.

He's definitely a streak player, and also he actually looks properly fit, unlike half of last season.

*Looks at table, gap between two teams, then looks at fourth wall, and gives confused look*
Relative to their squad and manager they're doing quite poor.

Could be an issue of motivation though, after having won two league titles in a row.

*Again, looks at injuries, definition of "shit", looks at table again, and gives blank stare at audience*

Also, we've played very very well. This is a great side we're currently up against in their own house.

looks like united have shut the shop. next 35 mins gonna be nerve wrecking for United fans.

Only if they concede. Man. City got into some good areas but haven't wored DDG much at all. 2-0 is very nice buffer.

Would be amazing if united can hold out

Just checked in. Can't believe it's 2-0. I've always loved you Redcafe Utd fans.
