League Cup 2019/20 | Semi finals: Man Utd v Man City, Leicester City v Aston Villa

This'll look weird in the history books if it ends up being a hammering.

Imagine turning up at this one if you didn't know the background and saw these lineups for a quarter final!

Utterly garbage reserve Villa side, and Liverpool's kids.

fecking Scouse bastards. fecking typical. The ill-luck their kids are getting tonight wouldn’t happen in five years with their first team with the fortune they’ve enjoyed over the last while.

Wankers.

They need to drop Souness, Phil Thompson and Carragher and get you summarising on Sky Sports, .

Oh boy

Jesus, this Villa team are tearing them apart, this will bury the Liverpool youth.
It's embarrassing, a sub championship team against a bunch of kids.

I thought van den Berg and the Hoever kid were highly rated. They both look out of depth so far.

Only Liverpool, truly, could have their young side obliterated and still be getting praise from many quarters

No reason why klopp couldn't have left even 3 solid players at home. Demoralising damaging night for the young guys

Still don't get it why klopp didn't leave at least 5 1st team backup players at home. It's not like every player who traveled is gonna play in the cwc and they can easily travel back for the final
To prove a point, buddy. A sympathy seeking decision.

Let's be brutally honest here, most of these youngsters and ours too won't be 1st teamers. If they can be developed to have careers in pro football then the academies have done their jobs.

Having said that, Klopp could have left some experience behind instead of throwing them to the lions

This is that 49 game unbeaten run bid going down the toilet too.

Which is a shame, obviously.

I am distraught, it is very sad.

Liverpools kids are rubbish, proof they’re buying the league. Lol

They are actually not playing bad.. at 2-0, the stats were something like 7 liverpool attempts to 2 for villa.. with 1 shot on target

Sickening how much praise Liverpool get even when 4-0 down. Imagine this was our kids getting battered by Villa reserves...

Missing Laurouchi at left back, lousy timing he had to get injured and Brewster's another one always hyped and injured when the opportunity comes around.

BBC says we've had 8 shots and 4 on target to Villa's 3 shots and 3 on target.

Villa are winning 4-0.
