League Cup 2019/20 | Semi finals: Man Utd v Man City, Leicester City v Aston Villa

I blame you lot on here jinxing it! We’ll get Leicester blah blah

I hate you lot!

If it was one game I would fancy us if it was 2 legs, I think they'll get through unfortunately.

two legs semifinal agains Man City? It doesn’t sound great in fact, they have better squad. It would be better with one leg only

Honestly, I was hoping for Villa! Bugger it.

Not the best draw for either team. This will always be a mentally and physically taxing fixture win or lose, and we have two of them. Hard to see us winning over two legs

We do better against the big sides so happy with the draw! We’ll lose to Villa on pens in the final

Bit annoying we have to play them twice. We were going to get them in the final anyway, and we’d probably have struggled whoever we’d got.

We know we can beat them.

Laporte won't be back for this, they'll have a similar shit defence as to last week.

I think we can beat them.

10 years ago we got City in the semis and Villa in the final before winning it all. Repeat? :p

Great draw. Will be a great experience for the players to play them over 2 legs.

Certainly drew the short straw there. A one off game v City is more winnable than two legs.

January turning out to be a very difficult month for a threadbare United panel.

Arsenal (A) Premier league
Wolves (A) FA Cup
Man City (H) league Cup
Norwich (H) Premier league
Liverpool (A) Premier league
Burnley (H) Premier league
Man City (A) league Cup
Possible FA Cup 4th round.

fecking he’ll what a car crash fixture list

Norwich and Burnley at home....tough ones

Was hoping for Villa and then for Leicester to knock City out. Don't think we'll manage to get through City over 2 legs. Though at the same time, much more important for us than for them, so who knows. Not very optimistic though, no matter how good we've been in big games.
