Sounds about right, then rest of the country later in the week?I reckon the lock down we will see implemented tonight will be the London Boroughs.

It's not a fecking Influenza virus you plonker. Is it really terrifying? It sounds an awful lot like having the flu... Because it's a flu virus...

Can there be a sticky or a link to somewhere to educate? Getting sick of reading people saying this. It's not a fecking Influenza virus you plonker.
Im not sure - think they might go the whole way and say all non key workers Uk wide are locked down other than pharmacy and food (probably with police manning the supermarkets)I reckon the lock down we will see implemented tonight will be the London Boroughs.

Look at snowdownia etc - think they will lock down the lot for 2 weeks (which will turn into at least 6 - probably more)
How are the police going to staff supermarkets?
I get chronic sinusitis and my taste and smell are nearly always reduced with an attack making them disappear completely. Seems a normal symptom that one might have with this.
Tesco staff applauding nhs workers. Quite moving actually.

He means guarding the supermarkets, not staffing them.
As nice as this is it doesn’t make it ok to film video in portrait.
What about the army?Oh I know. But how are they going to do that? You'd need two per supermarket. How many supermarkets are there in the UK?

I found this on twitter.
Was this comment made on 31st January as it appears?
What is the source?
What is the explanation?

Italy: 4790 cases, 602 deaths, 408 recovered

Italian government is happy in today's press conference, up to 63927 cases and 6077 deaths, but it's the first day since the outbreak began where new cases have shown a downward trend over 3 days.

No, it's not, but the symptoms are basically the same.. Have you ever actually had the flu?!
I’m not sure. Was anything said about them in the bill going through parliament today? And what powers would they have? They don't have any. Visible deterrent maybe but they're pretty toothless and would need the police to arrest etc.
Sure it is the same. Unless you get a bad dose of pneumonia and then realise you have no medical aid because there is no hospital space.
There will be a lot of people who will die from flu this year as well, since coronavirus patients are taking up all the hospital beds.

Anyone else got this channel on their telly? No idea where it came from or who's in charge of it. They're playing relaxing music but every time there's an update they're using something resembling the 24 theme song![]()
I constantly have rhinitis, most of Covid19 symptoms are part of what I will experience around this time of the year. It makes me particularly anxious.![]()
Any flu can give you pneumonia... And the symptoms are basically that of the flu. It's not terrifying. Describing the symptoms as terrifying is silly. The conversation was about nothing more than just that.

Depends if you actually watched the video and listened to what the healthy, 30 year old guy said - struggling intensely to breathe etc.
Not yet. They don't have any powers of arrest and the bill doesn't give them any from what I've seen. The military won't be used in any role in that capacity. Far too oppressive. They are usually used as support staff so you could maybe go down that route. The logistics of putting police officers at every supermarket simply isn't possible though. Crime hasn't gone anywhere during all of this. There's still 999 calls and actually an increase in domestic related matters given isolation.
This is good. The measures are hopefully taking some effect now.Italy: 4790 cases, 602 deaths, 408 recovered
Come on Italy! Another day of declining deaths - keep it going.Italy: 4790 cases, 602 deaths, 408 recovered

edit: and unions again showing why they should all be abolished. Strikes ongoing across the country today because the government closed all non essential business to fight the virus.
