No, because obviously it is an essential service, but regardless, an ever increasing amount has been being done remotely anyway. It is 2020 and most of us have pretty incredible equipment in our houses and pockets.

I got my shopping today in a supermarket in the poorer part of town that I happened to be passing through. Plenty of stock available, I suspect because most of the people around there simply don't have the money to buy a load of extra stuff on top of what they usually get. Quite a sobering thought really.

Oh of course, let's be honest most of us knew this was coming weeks ago.
But one of the many issues in trying to prepare is the unknown in job security. If they pass this legislation through and still no help for self employed, renters or even more job protection for those who don't need laying off but have greedy bosses, I think keeping people indoors and not socialising sadly won't be the biggest problem you'll have to face.

Ive has friends tell me it’s only key workers who can go to work (I.e police/ nurses etc), that might be what they consider the right thing to do, but that’s NOT what the PM has said.
an example is a painter/decorator working in an empty house on his own.Can he go to work tomorrow? Yes, I believe so.He clearly can’t do that job from home, so it’s essential for him to travel to do that work.
whether that’s the right thing to do is another question, but he’s not been directed by the government to stay to home?
I welcome challenges to this - as there are lots of different opinions.

A patient on the ward started developing symptoms. High fever, dry cough. He's been under my care since last Thursday. Getting swabbed tonight - so hopefully it's negative otherwise I'll be off work for 14 days.
We had a confirmed case on the weekend, and I saw the chest xrays of this poor gentleman when he presented to A&E and then 12 hours after when he deterioriated.
fecking hell - can see why people die from it. That shit obliterates.

"The army has seen some totally abandoned elderly people – even some who were dead in their beds,” Margarita Robles told the Ana Rosa TV programme."

In fact, the only place worse to work at than Sports Direct is probably the sweat factories where they make those products.

The government need to sort the self employed out, and the other bits and pieces, then pull the trigger. There seems to be no other way from learned experience of other countries. It has to be done.
Been locked down in France for 8 days now. Really not so fecking hard. People need to dial down the drama and just be sensible. Compared to some of the shit people are having to deal with in the world, staying in your own house isn’t the end of the bloody world.
