2nd. Amendment thumpers make up the police, this is Xanadu for them. How the fcuk is this going to get solved? It’s like they truly believe it’s their divine and constitutional right.

So same again when the next man gets lynched? Same rinse repeat as gun violence?I don't think it gets 'solved'. The best solutions would be for communities to develop their own police forces to protect themselves from the government hooligans, but they won't ever allow that to happen.
Am losing my mind now. This is beyond horrific.
How can this happen in the self styled no 1 nation on the planet.
Edit: it’s from April but still equally relevant

Some of them.SPLC flags them as a racist group.
I fear that's necessary and I hope it happens until at least the (regular) killings stop.So same again when the next man gets lynched? Same rinse repeat as gun violence?
Just when you think it can’t get worse
Reminds me of British beating up the non violent Ghandi.
Forces have been instructed to bring this to a close through brutal force.
China global reputation still suffers for Tianamen Sqaure over 20 years later. And not much VDO evidence of that night of brutality exists.
Surely it’s cant just be back to Normal after all this?
Some of them.
When has it been worse before? Surely not all over the country and with so many vicious police transgressions? It’s been worse here before, but the current fresh hell is being almost broadcast in real time to virtually everyone. We are in somewhat uncharted territory.
Yeah. Am in Uk but feel like am living this live with all in US! Am sure 100s millions like me all over.

I vaguely remember Rodney king riots but don’t remember those being so nationwide nor brutal.
Dr.Grills offers helpful insights in my opinion.
This very smart young lady nailed it. Really worth listening to her to acquire some empathy
1992 was bad, especially out west, but there were protests / riots all over the country. There were fatalities within hours of the verdict. It was basically over after four days. So, we aren’t there yet numerically in some statistics, but the current shit seems to still be escalating after five days. When has it been worse before? Surely not all over the country and with so many vicious police transgressions?

That’s where I saw it! But thought it was live so looked for it to share! Thanks for sharingYes, she is great. Can go back about 20mins on the stream I posted earlier to see it in full view/length.
You welcome. I'll try to tag the time once the live stream ends for others. She really had a powerful message. That’s where I saw it! But thought it was live so looked for it to share! Thanks for sharing
Some inner cities are still feeling the adverse effects of the 1960s riots. Like @Sir Matt said, they were culturally transformational on many levels.Ah! Of course. . Before I was born but have of course seen movies and read about it.
Worse than this? Wow! Then again we still don’t know when this ends.
Those 60s cops literally got away with murder during those riots! Some inner cities are still feeling the adverse effects of the 1960s riots. Like @Sir Matt said, they were culturally transformational on many levels.
Well said mate. Similarly, I don’t know how wise it is on the part of the protesters to hurl projectiles at cops/cop cars. I acknowledge the anger but yes, as you say, it’s a shame it has descended into violence. Hopefully some sort of meaningful change comes from all of these protests - not sure how optimistic I am, though. In Durham, there was two protests today with hundreds, if not over 1000 people, this afternoon and a later one tonight downtown. The protests were entirely peaceful, and the organizers emphasized that they weren't going to damage their own city. The primary involvement of the police and sheriff's office was to block traffic and give the protesters space to move and be heard. The organizers, protesters, and police all did an admirable job in managing the events.
It won't get the attention of cities where more damage and violence have occurred, but it's how both police and protesters should operate. Cops don't need to instigate confrontations with protesters who are peacefully marching or demonstrating just to assert control. Or driving huge armored vehicles around just as a show of force.
he supposedly died from his injuries. video clip only showed half the story though. Allegedly had a sword and was threatening to use it on looters of his store or something. Anyone in the dallas area confirm this? Be safe all, shit ain’t worth your life.
