And the reason I was calling it out as I think it's pretty important not to spread misinformation which can be the danger when simply posting tweets without looking at the content or context. That's not "gaslighting" it's simply stating facts.
 
The protests are truly revealing the grotesque face of the US state to the world. What a cesspit. Horrifying to watch it, I feel physically sick at the thought of what they’ll do to their own citizens if they feel that’s what is necessary. You only have to look at their foreign policy to see the value they put on human life - they will have no qualms about doing to their own what they specialise in doing to others. The sense of powerlessness as this unfolds is beyond depressing.

I agree on that.

People are so quick to go on about "fake news" when trump and his ilk blatantly talk their shit, but somehow it's fine to brush off tweets that clearly were looking for more interactions with an exaggeration because it closer aligns.

It shouldn't be the case. There's enough real shit going on right now to focus on.

Ye I've had other stuff to watch than their multiple social-media accounts (if they are even legit), you just posted a one line tweet nothing more. @Carolina Red has delivered the facts, and as he states @TheReligion was correct all along. All I was asking for was proof for that statement and now that I have it I'll let it rest. Glad I'm amusing you though.

I think you have to look at it that if they can do this to their own citizens in front of the cameras, imagine what they do to others in foreign countries without the cameras. How many innocent people have they killed in places like Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan.
How many innocent people have died because of the sanctions they have on countries like Iraq, Iran, Cuba and Venezuela. For what? Just because they don't accept American hegemony.

Mate, I get that you are in a position to view events from a position most of us have never experienced. I agree with a lot of your points in general, I've a brother who is a detective inspector.

But you're swimming against a tide of, actual real shit, when it comes to what's going on stateside right now, keep your powder dry for another day.

UK & Irish policing is a million miles from what we're seeing here, and long may that continue, hopefully.

I think it's more than a bit of mess. I think this is a wake up call to all decent people in America. Look what your government is doing in your name inside America. Just imagine what they have been doing in other countries in your name. Murdering innocent people just because they are different.

Said Budde: “I am outraged… Everything he has said and done is to inflame violence. I am beyond. We need moral leadership, and he’s done everything to divide us, and has just used one of the most sacred symbols of the Judeo-Christian tradition.”

She added: “I just can’t believe what my eyes have seen tonight.”

The Washington Post described Budde as “seething.”

There's a 7pm curfew being enforced here in DC tonight and the same planned for tomorrow. I live on a usually busy street and it's deserted right now, but I hear nothing but sirens. These are the most surreal times I've known since the days following 9/11.

I saw a couple of videos of suspicious, strategically placed looking piles of bricks yesterday, I can't remember if I posted them though. But yeah it seems like many, many cops are doing stuff like that.
