Premier League Gameweek 30+31

Pure robbery. 3 points puts us 2 points behind top four but they didn’t have their technology turned on at kick off. I thought they had to test everything beforehand? No way does that happen in a ‘high profile’ game.

I agree, this is probably worthy of taking to court if the difference in points ends up being just a couple points.

Did you guys even had a shot on target, I honestly don't recall. You certainly didn't deserve to win this game.

They couldn't give them the win now! That would be ridiculous and unfair on villa.

Indeed, that's what makes it really shite for everyone and why the only option is probably taking them to court to get some sort of compensation. Like you said in the other post it won't mean much but that's all that can really happen.

Villa were nailed by loads of bad decisions earlier in the season. I remember reading an article fairly early on that showed how they had legitimate claim to around 10 more points.

If they even tried allocating the game to Sheffield United after the fact Villa would go bananas.

Really Sheffield United should've been given special permission to appeal to VAR and get the goal given.

I suspect something was up with that as we had two good shouts for penalties yet neither were looked at (mind you we've been f***ed over by VAR all season) and there were lightning strikes in Brum from 4pm so perhaps power was lost.

With the disallowed goal has tonight shown a flaw with Goal Line Technology in that the way the keeper had the ball over the line to the side if the net , but not between the goal posts has messed it up somehow?

They should have made it clear to the players and ref and let Sheff Utd walk it in.
Its shocking this didnt come up

City with a midfield three of Gundogan, KDB and David Silva.
Puts the Bruno Pogba debate in context.

City hang token LGBTQ-themed flags in their stands in the absence of supporters yet if you were to engage in a same-sex relationship in Abu Dhabi, you’d be sentenced to death.

If it wasn’t so tragic, you’d laugh.

This is weird. The crowd is so much louder than it usually is at the Etihad.

Do City really have a banner saying "we're not really here?" No shit

Even Tyler calling Arsenal out on them wearing the away jersey.

I had crowd noise for Villa and am now have no crowd noise at the Etihad (at least I think it's no crowd ;)). I prefer it natural I reckon.

At first I thought they toned down the crowd noise a bit to simulate the Etihad. Turns out my stream has crowd noise turned off completely

Must be awful that... No football for 3 months, train to get ready then get injured in 6 minutes. Feel for him.
