Internationals September (Nations League + Friendlies)

Dylan Levitt getting a start against Finland excites me. Hopefully he puts in a good performance and makes a solid impression.

Also:

Jesus would have thought it would have been a lot more than 33.

Wales - Giggs, Levitt, Savage, Chester, Blackmore, Davies. from Wales alone.

They mean 33 were still teenagers on their international debut.

I really wonder how I passed my leaving cert sometimes, with my lack of reading comprehension skills.

Werner has looked pleasantly shit so far. Been very wasteful.

You mean like Connoly pretending to be a professional footballer?

Connolly's been alright, creating a decent amount of space, he's been isolated quite well by Bulgaria.

He's very quick off the mark.

What up with players sulking, waving their arms up, staying down etc. if something doesn't work and the ball is still at play. Looks so unprofessionell. Looking at you Sane...

Sad to see how far James McCarthy has slipped quality wise over the past 2 years. That injury really fecked him when he was at his peak.

What does his age have to do with anything? I have clearly just caught him having a poor evening, but its apparent that considering his age he isn't ready for this stage.

You didn't say he was having a poor evening though.

Ferran Torres looks decent. Hungry player.

Got to say Werner underwhelms me every time I see him. Just nothing special about him. Wouldn't be surprised to see Giroud or Abraham displace him for Chelsea.

Sane on the other hand is an absolute steal at £50m

Thanks. In the past 2 weeks or so, I've been monitoring the games of Khimki, Fc Krasnodar, Ural, and Arsenal Tula. I'm significantly ignorant on things pertaining to the Russian league, so it was to my surprise seeing the amount of yellow cards that are given.
You’re probably more up to date than me in that case
I don’t watch much of it myself, only big games or something that friends are watching. I do read a little about it, but that’s about it.

Darren Randolph is a very under rated goalkeeper. Very steady.

Well, you don't think young players should get more slack because they are developing?

Also a bit of context, this is his third international appearance in an unfamiliar position on the left of a three. It's also the first game for this team in a new system under a new manager.

Rodrigo is having a horrible game. If this is how he normally plays, Leeds are going to have a tough time getting goals.

Why is there no stadium sound? Didnt realize how much I like it until it isnt there.

Its obviously a shite game against a poor opponent but I like the fact that we are trying to keep the ball and play. Lets remember that it is Kenny's first game but there seems to be a clear philosophy change.

Yeah Werner has looked pretty shit so far. Find it hard to imagine him leading the line on his own in the prem. he doesn’t look clinical.

I’ve been saying it for a while but I really think Werner is bang average, great stats but he won’t pull up trees in the prem. I still stand by Martial is a far better player and we will see that this season.

Are these the strongest Germany and Spain teams? Neither looks good on paper.
