Premier League Gameweek 3

That's one that that a lot get wrong.
After all, more or less is a phrase, so it's easy to misunderstand them as being opposites in all situations. You'd say less time, rather than fewer time etc.

Much less annoying that lose/ loose, your/you're etc
English is a wonderfully expressive and comprehensive language but its piecemeal construction and giant inconsistencies make it very difficult to master. I sympathise with the less/fewer conflation a lot of the time. In actual speech, I'm sure I sometimes mix them up as well.

Arsenal don't look remotely interested in trying to win this game.

You look how narrow Aubemayang, Lacazette and Willian look for Arsenal - the difference between that and how Rashford and Greenwood play so wide and deep from Martial in a 4231 is so clear and unfortunate.

This formation isn't working well for them, their right side is completely open

Teams trying to play from the back without knowing how to do is just an embarrassament to football. Everyone think they can be Barcelona team from Xavi era. Hoof the ball up. What is the point passing when you lose it right away.

Xhaka and Elneny haven't been great but this Liverpool side is too good to be fair. We need some control in midfield and better transition play.

With all the adulation Arsenal have gotten this season I expected them to be a lot better than this. Why is Arteta being spoken of as some great manager? They have done nothing going forward and have even been shite enough defensively.

Pool are comfortably the best team in the PL. Probably Europe too.

Arsenal a bit shite here. Why's Saka not playing? Was interested to see him play, think he's great with the ball. Also wasn't Ceballos playing well?

Liverpool have no reason to be tired, they have been basically resting since around March.

Right but all players essentially had three complete months off which is more than you get on an average season break. Fatigue shouldn't be kicking in yet..... Even with those clubs who played in August.

Aubameyang

If Arsenal continue trying to play it around the back they will ship 6 or 7

Arteta is a proper fraud.

In fairness, Liverpool are going to win 32 or so games again this season, and will barely drop a point at home. So you can't expect a "project" still in the making like Arsenal to do much
They've done amazingly to steal a win.

Talk of how Liverpool have to drop off again premature. They'll have comfortably seen of Chelsea and Arsenal in the first 3!

Aresenal are so bad playing out from back, it’s just embarrassing.
Leno to Luiz to Scottish lad then give it to Liverpool. Pointless.

That's zero awareness by Arsenal's defense, but that's terrible defending on an attempted clearance and then the deflected ball goes straight to Robertson. Crap defending there and just fortunate bounce but you know on film Robertson supports the attack yet you let him go unmarked into the box - Willian just didn't pay attention.

Can’t listen to this commentary any longer, they need to get aroom
I don't support any club and have no vested interest in any of them. Even so, I would say that Liverpool have induced the most spontaneous spunking among commentators over the past few years. It's hard to listen to.
