Signing Cavani on big money as a last minute panic buy to save face, what a joke.
Him sitting on the bench will really help us.

To be honest, after Fergie retired and us having an inexperienced manager at the top level, signing only Fellaini at the last minute is unforgivable even for an intern.Oh my life Ed. I can deal with fecking Fellaini on Year 1 but now it's been 7 fecking years you've had on the job training.
So haggling over few millions to sign Telles but pays 10m to agents to sign Cavani.
The Glazers should fire their crony.
He'll start costing the club money very soon if we continue underperforming on the field.

Shocking. Moyes should have been backed with at least three top players.
I know what was written about and said by Moyes but we have tonnes of evidence now to show that Woodward, judge and glazers are the real ditherers. Moyes was probably naive (no chance he hadn’t seen Thiago play) but what he needed was solid recruitment behind him. He still wouldn’t have been the right coach but that’s irrelevant, if you get the recruitment right, at least you can narrow down the problem/solution.He was but they never wanted to come to United and strung along Moyes and the club. Then when Thiago was lined up Moyes refused saying that he has not seen Thiago play.
Maybe the Glazers aren't the problem.
Just imagine if they had hired Marina Granovskaia at Chelsea, or Daniel Levy or Edwards from Liverpool, or even Van der Saar, the huge investments of past 6 years would have yielded something fundamentally different to where we are now.
What is disturbing is that United fans , you in this case have only found out about this now.
When people were calling for a Director of Football especially after Van Gaal, it was after realising that Ed Woodward was a train wreck.
We as fans only have got ourselves to blame. The Director of football approach was widely ridiculed on here in favour of the Woodward nonsense.
We need to take our share of the blame because as the most important people at the club , we have been passive and expect miracles, on the back of what Fergie achieved.
When Van Gaal complained about the structure at the club, people chose to demonish him for his sideways passing football. When Mourinho complained about it people said he was just a moaner. And when Moyes specifically said Ed Woodward was not David Gill, people still mocked Moyes.
Only fans can affect change at any football club. We have so far failed, but if we can unite, we could reverse the trend.
People forget about how much power we have as fans. It has taken a dangerous infectious disease like Covid, to remind all of us, that football clubs are nothing without the fans.
Let's use our influence wisely, instead of trying to look like top reds by defending the useless Glazers and the officers they appoint to run this club.
The whole club has become a joke. A subject of discussion every day on every radio station and television station in the UK. Its a joke.
Glazers are the problem because they somehow think Ed is doing so well that we don't need a replacement for him.Maybe the Glazers aren't the problem.

I think our brand has suffered an irreversible decline in the past 7 years - at least to football fans. Even the new fans find little reason to support us now. United's global popularity grew massively in the 90s and 00s thanks to SAF's successes coupled with the explosion of TV broadcasting around the world. The romance and lore of the United name has not grown much in the past 7 years. While we remain one of the strongest marketing platforms in global football, the lack of football success will hurt us in the long run relative to our rivals. Not that the Glazers would care - they could cash out by then. This whole business of aiming only for top 4 will only work if there are indeed only 3 teams better than us but this season promises to be a rough one with Everton on a roll and Arsenal in the mix again. Many fans have been predicting this for 7 years.
The truth is that as long as we get 4th place or higher, that's all the Glazers want.
Overpaying on wages, for players and agents - not sure about that one.
The Glazers think Martial is our Pele and Woodward has a hard on for big name players from Japan 08 when he first pretended to watch football. We are fecked.Woodward is to certainly to blame but I assume on big decisions ,like spending 100m on a player, the Glazers have the final say.
Pretty clear the old man was the ruthless genius. If the siblings who have no interest would just sell up (pretty essential their shares should be sold to people outside of the family)and replace Woodward with VdS I believe the future would be golden. We can afford the debt and dividends while spending cash. Wejust need someone who understands football and is willing to take a that risk. Woodward out altogether is the easiest way to appease the supporters right now. We maybe a poisoned chalice for managers and players right now but surely there is someone capable out there willing to sink their teeth in to this club. It's fecking perfect for Edwin. And the club just sits idly by and watches this shit happen? There's a reason Woodward would need extra security - it's because he's doing an absolute shite job. If they actually hired someone competent and able to do the job, there wouldn't be need for extra security around your CEO's house ffs. How have this family made billions of dollars? I am genuinely baffled by the choices they continue to make. I understand that United generate money, but surely hiring competent people would not just be good for the sporting side, but also maximize profits for the Glazers? Are they afraid competent people might actually demand they spend some of their dividends maybe?

Hope he continues to boil their piss, all the renewed spotlight on their incompetence might be the one silver lining from this window
