Can you believe that the most Mourinho won a match with us was 4-0, while with Spurs in a year he won 5 twice, a 7 and a 6 and last one was against a top 4 team on their own pitch, us out of all teams ?
Son has to be the top 5 players of the league. He deserves far more attention and praise. He is no different to what Salah is for LFC.
We look extremely strong at the moment and our squad depth is now up there with the best in the league. Very impressed and Bale still to come in.
Me too, especially considering that was our 4th game in 8 days and probably at least 3 players - including Bale, Lo Celso and Doherty - short of our best XI.
The red card for Martial was a bit soft, all things considered, but then there were other United players who later could also easily have been sent off. But even without the red card I think we would have won fairly convincingly.

The red card changed the game. No red no easy win
You could have had 2 other red cards. If anything you were lucky
They were absolutely mullering you leading up to the red. Likely wouldn't have been 6-1 but you were hanging on by a thread. Very likely they'd have won comfortably anyway.
Nah. Son is good but not that great. Can be very erratic at times. Not a top 5 player (yet).
I realised today that Spurs have managed to collect a number of players that we were linked with and many fans turned our noses up at.
Both fullbacks, and they are both better than who we have, Eric Dier and he'd be a starting centreback for us, and Lucas Moura, who would probably be a starter for us.

They have had a fantastic window actually. Levy has done a superb job with funds he had. They got 2 new fullbacks, Bale, a new sub striker and a midfielder. All obvious upgrades on what they had.
And they barely spent anything on most of them.
Honestly, masterclass from Levy down there. The only thing missing is getting a CB but they can do with what they have for a season.
That's obviously BS, without the red card you think the sequence of play would have gone exactly the same way. You won no doubt about it, don't come here and mouth off about easy win or what a great team you have, without the red card you where not getting a win out of that game today.
As for the two red cards, those incidents obviously would not have occur without the first one or with lamela also being off.
Having to play Europa league qualifiers might have actually turned out to be a blessing in disguise for them. It gave them a chance to easily build up some momentum and confidence after disappointing results against Everton and Newcastle.
I'm not a Spurs fan and they had like 8 shots on goal in the 5 minutes before the red and you were clinging on. They thrashed you. It happens. Leicester did it to us last week. No one said they have a great team but they do not have a strong squad. They have players like Lucas, Alli, Toby, Doherty on the bench and players like Lo Celso and Bale to come in.
Bale is yet to get fit but Son is looking really good (wish he came to Madrid) and under Mourinho this team has the potential to be deadly on the counterattack and something reminiscent of Real Madrid under Mourinho and Ancelotti.
We were getting outplayed before the red card bro. We were trash the entire game, bar the first 30 seconds.
Delusion. Even Neville acknowledged that we were getting dicked prior to the red. It was abundantly clear which team was better coached. Without the red maybe it's only 3-1 to Spurs.
He simply didn't have attackers as good as what he's got at Spurs now. Kane and Son are better than what we had under him.

No one is arguing about being thrashed and of course it happens. But the notion that they where dominating before the red card is something I obviously have to disagree with, it was fairly even apart from the stupid mistakes from maguire, but we would have eventually come to grips with the game and Tottenham would have no doubt sit back to soak pressure because that was their game plan right from time. It was obvious in their line up what the plan was, the red card changed everything.
It was nothing like city's game, you where beaten fair and square. United should have done better in dealing with the Martial redcard and that was ole's fault but lets not come here and rewrite history like they where all over us, it was even before the red card.
Fair play to Spurs and Jose, great form since that Everton loss.
And most importantly, he now has players who are ready to follow his instructions. Just look at the way Kane is playing now by dropping deep and being the provider. Also, spurs is trying their best to give him what he wants. At united, he had raw talents who were thinking that they were already world class and some even acting like they are bigger than the manager and the club. And then the management and scouts were undermining his suggestions on transfers.
For me, there lies the biggest difference.
They were murdering ye... I give up, believe what you want. I mean myself, the Spurs fan, Gary Neville and 96% of the Caf obviously watched a different game than you.

Can't really see any meltdown happening any time soon. Him and Levy seem to be totally on the same line regarding transfers and building the team. He asked for a striker all summer, got one at the end.
It's almost like it's not the managers that come and go that are the problem, innit? Woodward is commercially competent, but doesn't seem to know the football world. If that doesn't change, I think the rest will be down to luck or an overcompensation by the manager.
If they get Bale firing, they would arguably have the best attack in the league. Son, Kane, Bale (Bergwijn, Moura, Vinicius)

1 loss in 15 and that was to the league leaders. Jose has given us belief again, we can achieve great things with the depth we now have.
Can they actually win the league this season? Their attack is immense and it seems like the sort of situation Jose would thrive in. They still have Bale to come. If the season is truly open they will surely be up there.
It's still Liverpool's title to lose. Having said that, I think we are capable of a title challenge. Our squad is ridiculously strong now.
