Premier League Gameweek 26

He's a very good player but some will tell you he's average at best.
He's definitely a good player. I'm just not sure we could ever justify spending what West Ham would ask for him.

When I said “some loose passes but makes things happen” I immediately thought of Bruno. With the form he’s showing these season he seems far better fitted as a Bruno back-up than anyone else we’ve tried.

I agree. Despite me moaning about Bruno's rash decisions at times, ultimately, you need such a player, especially in the 10 role, who will force the impetus and make things happen. An in form, confident Jesse does that.

When both of your CB's get on the scoresheet then you know it's your year

City are just miles ahead of us and near enough every other team in Europe bar one or two teams.

I fear for us next week despite the bus we'll park.

They seem to play in second gear until its necessary to change up.

We have McTominay lads there’s no way we’re spending £70m on rice..

Surprise surprise, another team who play their cup final against us but can’t be bothered turning up against el plastico

Would you go big for CB or RW out of interest as reports in the last few days suggest we will have to compensate in one of those areas and really cannot decide which is more important out of the two
Personally we’ve always worked best with a mobile CB partnered with a no frills/ boot it into Row Z merchant. Vidic and Rio spring to mind. Maguire and Bailly work best but the latter is never guaranteed starting 2 games in a row. So a CB for me but if Sancho or Haaland came up...

He’s top class. Single biggest reason for West Ham being a force this season. Will be a pain in the arse if Chelsea sign him.

Could possibly change with Tuchel in charge.

If we want to replace Matic, then look no further.

Young, English and proven in the EPL. No brainer really.

They're just too good, even got their defenders playing like strikers in the box. If that was Pool there, i'd be expecting for one our players to make a dumb mistake on the edge of their box and get done on the counter after having 90% possession for the last 20 minutes.

Rice turns his back on it for the goal Roy Keane would kill him for that.

City's squad is incredible. I appreciated Pep's honesty the other day when he was asked why they are so good.

Hardly, they’re trying hard . They didn’t play their cup final against us TBF;one shot on target wasn’t it. They had no CF and lost players to injury. It’s similar today but they have Antonio and Lingard causing problems

Yep. Kinda at the point where there’s not a great deal of point getting stressed about challenging them. I just don’t see how we can catch them. Liverpool had to reach near 100 points to compete. We don’t have that in us.

And yet they’re winning at a canter.

Liverpool finally drop off and City readying themselves for another cycle of domination.

Grim.
The winning run will come to an end. Good thing they've got Wolves next who'll suck the joy out.

Think motivation is a big factor if they're going to win the league next season. Still think Klopp and maybe Tuchel could push City all the way in 2022.

They really should've beaten us in the fixture at their place, we were terrible in the first half.

But then we'd be happy to spend that type of money on Haaland, Sancho, Kounde, etc.

To me, in terms of young talents, Rice is par with the aforementioned players, despite playing in a different position.

The way City are playing at the moment, it takes away the whole concept of competition from the game. They are so superior.

The level they’re playing out with the busy schedule is ridiculous.

Imagine being able to rest your 55m centre half for another 55m centre half in a champions league knockout game. As well as many other examples of high end like for like.

This is the time of year normal clubs find difficult rotating through. I think people underestimate just how much of a difference this is for city its absolutely ridiculous

Yeah they are literally in a league of their own with us, Chelsea, Leicester and the other top 4 contenders in the next mini league scrapping it out behind them and that really pains me to admit
