Premier League Gameweek 26

Just look at the city rotation vs an exhausted wolves. On what planet could wolves compete here? These games are box ticking exercises and it's a sad state for the PL. Not saying it will last forever but this season of all seasons city's pumped up squad has guaranteed an easy title
When you have 22 world class or international class players who have won things ....

Yes. This week to us.
hear hear.
Sunday Bloody Sunday (for them)
And it is about time we win a game against big 6.
And that win will be start of their downhill trajectory.
After we win on Sunday, they drop more points in PL, drop from CL in next round, then lose more points in PL, bust ups starts, Pep leaves, Mica Richards becomes their manager.

I think that it is, more or less.
Maybe I forgot something..

I can't help this feeling watching peps teams that's there's something inhuman going on. How can their players always look leagues above other professional players. Like they are playing against under 18 teams.
The players on the bench could probably beat half the league's first XI.

No, I'd say that's pretty spot on.

City are having Pep Barca effect right now. You don't exactly know if they are so good they can stroll through games in 2nd gear or just opposition is not even trying to get something from the game.

James is a far better player than Adama Traore. There’s people who think we should sell James and Buy Traore. I’m convinced some people judge players by YouTube compilations.

5 goals in 130 PL apps
0 goals this season.

Watch him bag a hattrick now (fingers crossed)

The look very good at the moment, but no matter how good they are they'll lose soon enough.

Look at the scousers couldn't ever see them losing last season.

I don’t care what anyone says or how much the commentators wank over them - City are boring as shit to watch. Like watching paint dry. Feck that.

Of course, if football's taught me anything it's that they'll have a crisis at some point.

Hopefully the oil well runs dry and they get dumped out of two cups in the space of a week.

This is fantastic football just missing a Messi to put the goals away for them..

You can just tell how much work they put into these things. The same kind of attack again and again. So well choreographed.

Does not compute.

:D

What makes a match exciting? And why is it that despite a lot of goals scored, games in which City participate are usually labeled as boring? Is it the way in which they don't even give the opposition a foothold (hence my glib comment)? Is it how they kill you with 1000 passes instead of 3 (the Mourinho special)? I've seen them labeled as boring enough that it's worth talking about. I'm sure they're called boring more than a Burnley or Brighton!

Looks like the unlimited amount of money/transfers starting to pay off for City.

Just took the 500 million in three years to come better defensively

Guess having a world class coach also helps, just look at the relentless pressing to recover the ball.

Pep is a monster in the league campaigns.

I am jealous. A hell of a coach.
The best in the world. City are playing their best football under him right now, imagine adding Messi or Haaland next season..

Of course it does. But a hugely fatigued wolves team against a heavily rotated city team who had 350m on the bench at weekend and about the same tonight, isn't exactly going to boil down to coaching greatness

There isn't any ingenuity or spontaneity.

Makes me laugh when pundits go on about how this brand of football is the best we've ever seen in England.

With all the talk of Messi going to City, do they also pick up Haaland to round out the squad? Pretty frightening, if yes.
