There's something so FIFA about thinking you can just plug him back into the United team and he'll produce the exact same form as he's in right now. It looks specifically like the change in environment has done him the world of good.
100% agree - the change of environment has been massive, and I think also probably knowing he's going to start. Which means he can afford to take risks, afford to attempt something which might not come off. If he comes back he'll be (at best) a squad player again who rotates in and out, and I just can't see how he could possibly maintain the form he's in while missing games, coming off the bench etc
