Is there a protest going on?
So automatically, the petro dollar fuelled clubs will just disappear and we’ll dominate? Just because we can spend what we earn?
We are seriously fecked and so many are still blind to it 16 years in from the first time they bent us over.
It's maddening.
And the deals are becoming less lucractive nowadays due to poor performance. so not like the ESLNever did that. I compared it to joining the ESL which is based on the same idea that a few super clubs have earned the reputation and therefore the rights to earn more.
If they communicated more or less the above plus a promise to keep dividends aligned to consider footballing achievements, I don't think we'd see as many protests. But they just promised empty words, as Gary said, the Glazers don't know how to communicate with the fans. And a big part of the escalation here.
Tell you what, I'll start pocketing some of your wage every month.
Not all of it, but a decent amount. I'll leave you enough to survive on though.
Surely you'd be fine with that yeah? Do you really need all the money you've earned?
Well when you get to a certain level of earnings, this becomes a valid argument. It is the reason governments generally tax the rich more than they do the poor. Is it not?
I cut them a bit of slack because they're probably afraid to engage but it's not a good look. They've surely got a finger on the pulse of the significant opposition to their ownership even from day one, hence their apprehension. Hopefully local figures at the club will figure out a good forum that allows the fans voices to be heard yet provides the Glazers with a safe and civil environment for fan engagement.
I agree. We should be protesting. Anyone outside the ground is doing fantastic work and I’d back then every time. I’d even back those who got the game cancelled the first time around, but that can’t go on forever and I’m not supportive of those simply going out trying to cause trouble and get the game called off when it’s unnecessary. We can make our voices heard off the pitch and watch our players play football on the pitch. They already do our best to make us the next Arsenal. No one can know what if anything will help the club be run better.
The point is that it's better to try and better the club by going out swinging.
Silence is pathetic. Atleast to me. Would rather our voices heard even if it achieved nothing.
The Glazers don't deserve to have it easy at the very least
To be fair, even the great Brian Moore could occasionally come out with something like "after a goalless first half, the score is nil-nil"

Imagine being this guy and having to go live in air and lie through your teeth.
Hope they are paying him well
I really hate the Glazers. They actually make me sick.

Blimey don't say that Joel will bottle out of appearing on this fans forum despite what the club lackey just said
What a twat Daniel Taylor is.In fairness no one has caused any trouble today that we know of. It was resoundingly constructive from what we have seen.
Even the story about slashing the bus tires was false.
In which case I’ve jumped the gun and apologise. There have been plenty in here advocating getting the game cancelled though which I still think is a shame. In fairness no one has caused any trouble today that we know of. It was resoundingly constructive from what we have seen.

You're either utterly clueless or you're a Glazer stooge telling Utd fans they should be happy the Glazers steal so much money from the club because it stops us dominating English football and making it boring. Or you're both.
No point arguing with you.
Which is good! I read the reports of the blocked busses and roads and condemned that.Yeah and it looks like that's what's happened tonight
By protesting, no lessYeah and it looks like that's what's happened tonight
Thought it was fine, personally. But fair play on having different opinions and I take back my poor evaluation of your support. It was below the belt.Which is good! I read the reports of the blocked busses and roads and condemned that.
Expect the GMP to wade in heavy handed soon to get us some bad press. Like clockwork.
Yes, if it is through a sustainable model.Same applies to them. Are you comfortable with the idea of a few super clubs running away from the rest?

It’s fine. I don’t for one second think that the intentions are right. I just feel like we can continue protesting without trying to hurt the players on the pitch whom I’m fairly proud to support at this moment in time.Thought it was fine, personally. Do you skin the thing first before liquidation? Or just fur it up and pick it from your teeth after?
If we don't play this game tonight, I hope we face points deduction, miss out on Champions League and have no money spend on transfers in summer.
At least those local fans whom I don't understand will be happy.
Trophies? Glory? Success? They don't care. LUHG.
Does such a person, outside of the Glazer family's business circle, even exist? No, anyone who’s a Glazer lover is a Glazer lover
Ah sorry I thought you were eluding to the way the owners purchased us.Never did that. I compared it to joining the ESL which is based on the same idea that a few super clubs have earned the reputation and therefore the rights to earn more.
Why did nothing of note happen Tuesday? Or did it?I've been worried that the momentum would quickly fizzle out again, so it's pleasing to see a decent crowd there tonight. The Glazers need to know that fans won't be pacified by yet more false promises.
Oh please stop my ribs are hurting from laughing at all the BS being spoken
No.Does such a person, outside of the Glazer family's business circle, even exist?
