Day 9: Hungary vs France | Portugal vs Germany | Spain vs Poland

Well it matters in that a 22yr old isn't at their peak and it's unfair to compare a 22yr old to an elite striker at their peak.
But if that 22 yr old builds his game around his physical attributes then theres very little improvement he can have?
The 22 yr old is still the same player he was at Monaco imo. If he isnt improving over that period then there isnt much left.

Much more direct from Germany here. They controlled it vs France but didn't push enough

Honestly his situation reminds me of Hazard, Alexis Sanchez etc. All these guys gave their best years to their previous clubs.

You have to buy them just before they're hitting their peak years. Age 22-25 sounds good.
unless their name is christiano ronaldo!

Patricio going to make a massive error in this tournament for Portugal I reckon.

Declined last two years.

He is still 22, far from his peak.

No player peaks at 22, no matter what are his attributes.

I don't watch him or PSG much but he's gone from scoring a goal every two games to close to scoring a goal a game.

How has he not improved in that time?

Just coincidence that we had Michael Oliver and now Anthony Taylor? Or are we going to get a full house with a third Premier League doughnut in a row later on?
