Yeah I think what's been so impressive about Kane is that he's not physically gifted. Yet he's been a brilliant player.
But now going beyond 27 I can't see him being a Lewandowski type, who can keep it going into his 30's. Those physical limitations will catch up.
I don't see the comparison with Sanchez at all.

It wasn't just United fans who made that mistake to be fair, I was incredibly jealous when you guys signed Sanchez.

Funny if Pep and City really offer 100M after watching him play with Foden and Sterling with England and producing nothing of note. Pep may have his own ideas on how to use Kane though as he's a brilliant manager but it's not really worth what Spurs are asking for him

Or a Utd/RVP or a Leicester/Vardy (he was 27 when he arrived!) Fiorentina/Luca Toni or Bayern/Klose or Utd/Sheringham. Plenty of strikers/attackers move in their late 20s and go on to do extraordinary well.
The style of play will be heavily different especially with the way city use their midfield (and kdb) and their full backs

It's sad to see Kane wasting his talent away at Spurs - a bit like Le Tissier at Southampton. Of course you can argue that it's refreshing to find a player who stays at a club like that - but I have always wondered how great it would be to see Le Tissier at a top club

Back in 2009, Guardiola used to question why buy a striker for 50 millions when there is one waiting in the youth team. So I wouldn't believe a single word coming from him.
Can't decide if I want him to flop at this Euros so his value drop but it is almost certain he will go to City so I'd rather they pay a ridiculous fee for him.

I just can’t see him going to City, he doesn’t seem like a Pep player at all. Funnily enough, I don’t see us being able to afford him. I personally hope we don’t sign him, I see any club making a big money move for him will regret it.
Levy should be bold. Ask for £100 million and Kevin De Bruyne.
Pep has proven to be a very flexible coach. Remember people saying Aguero wasn't his type of striker either.

If anything, I would say Pep is anything but. And to be honest, regardless of whether Aguero was or wasn’t a Pep type of striker, there has always been a bit of reluctance with his use of Aguero.

City slinking £200-250 million would straight up finish the league before it starts. People aren’t competing with that City team.
I’m more confident they’ll get Kane, whereas Grealish seems more of a luxury purchase for them; a “if we can buy him we will, but we won’t fight for it” whereas Kane they’ll actively chase.

Meh, is kane really that much better than aguero in his prime? Think I prefer kane going to city than idea of messi going there this summer.
City also have KDB, Bernardo Silva, Mahrez and Torres that will provide ample opportunity. Not to mention, Pep's teams actually do something with possession of the ball as opposed to passing it slowly sideways and backwards most of the game.
Unfortunately I think the opposite might be true; his game doesn't really rely on pace and he's been outstanding dropping deep at times last season and I think if he stays fit he'll play well into his thirties. The problems he's having with England might just be general fatigue or Southgate's ultra dull brand of football.
100 mil + some combination of Sterling, Jesus or Laporte is better than anything Levy is going to get in this market. He should take it and move on.
Meh. We’re not competing for the title either way so more interested in what Chelsea, Liverpool, and the other top 4 contenders do in the transfer market. We’ll have our work cut out for us to seal top 4 again so hopefully we can do that and maybe win one of the domestic cups this time around.

City offering 100 million for Kane ha! I don't believe that at all...but with United perusing Sancho it would be a very hard sell for the papers/media to come up with anything remotely believably connecting United to Kane, so City is the next best option.
How many coaches are willing to play without a striker, how many coaches play with inverted fullbacks, how many coaches are willing to play two AMs in central midfield? Pep's principles don't change but he's extremely flexible with his approach. Sometimes, too flexible imo and too willing to try things.
I have no doubt he would try to make Kane work and I wouldn't bet against him succeeding.
Ibrahimovic was more of a personality clash than any other thing. He still scored nearly 30 gaols in all competitions that season.

Where else are they going to go? All three of them want out for more game time. No one else can afford them and city won’t sell to us or Liverpool. Chelsea might be an option though.
I wonder how much Grant Hanley is worth then? Is Kane still stuck inside his back pocket? 
Just because he has a history of pissing around with the middle of the pitch to up his possession %, doesn’t mean he‘s been flexible with strikers. The fact he’s not very inclined to play a striker at all most of the time says it all.
I mean he pretty much begged for that transfer in the Neville interview
