Next Spurs manager?

❌ Nagelsmann
❌ Rodgers
❌ Flick
❌ Allegri
❌ Ten Hag
❌ Pochettino
❌ Conte
❌ Fonseca
❌ Gattuso

Just mental.

 Especially considering how strongly some were linked as well or how close they were, not like the majority were just one liners in the Metro.

Klinsmann  Hilarious how he throws his hat into the ring with no shame.

Castles reckons that levy pulled the deal with fonseca after being deeply unimpressed after meeting him. Told paratici to find someone else for spurs manager.

McGarry said fonseca was told there was no transfer budget available. Fonseca asked how he was supposed to compete with the top clubs in PL without any budget. Levy was said not to be impressed with that reply. It should be an honour for foncesa to manage spurs alledgedly levy implied.

What is that list even supposed to represent? With Allegri, Nagelsmann and Flick there was no point in even trying to sign them. With ten Hag, Rodgers and Poch we don't even know whether they were theoretically available.

They’ll be left with Graham Potter and Dyche and Dyche will turn them down

They sacked Mourinho around mid April, so whether they were available or not they were linked or pursued them before we knew their circumstances were about to change. They were ready for weeks to sack Mourinho and get Nagelsmann before he announced he was going to Bayern, same with Flick before Germany job sprung up, and Aleggri learning English, would be open to managing in Premier league etc but was really holding out for Real or Juve. Then they turned to Ten Hag, but he signed a new deal with Ajax.. then the papers said Levy would try a second time for Rodgers by hoping Spurs would kill Leciester's CL chances on the final day and that would be enough for Rodgers to jump ship, but he remained loyal. Then there's the Poch in limbo episode at PSG, all stories of him wanting out already but the president got him to stay. This is all before the drama with Conte, Fonseca, Gattuso..

It has to be one of the biggest botched Managerial processes there's ever been.

Imagine if this was all featured in a docu series

Löw announcing his stepping down got these moves rolling and that happened in early March. Flick stirring up conflicts at Bayern to get the Germany job does not mean he would have done the same to make the move to Spurs. Neither does Nagelsmann demanding a move to Bayern mean he would have done the same for Spurs. Like does anyone seriously believe there is a world where Flick thinks he'd rather coach Spurs than Bayern? Or where Nagelsmann commits to Spurs rather than wait out Flick at Bayern?

The fact that were fast approaching July and they still appear nowhere close to signing their coach speaks for itself, there is no need for made up names.

They've taken this long already, might as well wait a few weeks and then do the nation a favour by going for Southgate

Whoever they get... they best be happy, because they're sticking around for while given they've somehow fecked off everyone else. It's mental.

Nuno maybe a decent shout ….likeable and could work with a limited budget.

Depressing appointment though, his football is sh*te to watch,

Spurs have a good team, definitely top 6 quality And with 2-3 good Signings you couldn’t right them off from top 4 so I think appointing Nuno is almost admitting defeat and shows a real lack desire to become a top team.

Although they tried to appoint a guy who got sacked from a mid table Italian team who has now been replaced with the manager you just sacked, so it’s a very Spursy appointment

Gone a bit quiet. I guess Levy realizes he's coming off as a fool & clamped down on the rumor mill. A bit of a clown show for a while. Twas fun.

Maybe go back to Mourinho and tell him they’ve made a mistake?

Would it be so bad to give Mason another go? He won 4 of his 6 league games. Bit crap in the cup final, but he did alright.

The club is being dredged through negative PR with all these unsuccessful approaches. They're obviously not going to get anyone who was considered a preferred candidate.

Why can't they go for that bloke who manages River Plate, or Howe, or any aspiring manager with attacking style for whom Spurs would be a promotion?

Gallardo already said that he was only available in January. He was one of Lyon's targets.

Also if nobody else has already said this, then give it Giggsy till the end of the season.

Clear as water that the club is on self-management at the moment. Not having a manager for so long is clearly not good. The new manager will have to gather statistics of the squad, to plan the pre-season and to give an input on suqad engeneering all in one month.
