Why do people watch Lewis Hamilton fanclub events all year and complain about the stewards, the interviewers and commentators being fans and Hamilton blowing his own trumpet again after another very lucky one?

Max fans should just relax, max will win the championship this year. The car is simply better than the Mercedes. The result just makes the season interesting. Last thing we want in a 23 race season is for max to have a 60/70 point lead and the season to be over by race 12 or 13.

Max tasted his own medicine. Brilliant driving from Lewis. Lewis probably could’ve driven tighter, but Max either tried to force his way through by cutting in front of him or he wasn’t orientated enough.

I honestly don't see it going that way. I think the experience of Mercedes and Hamilton will win out eventually. My feeling was that Max and RB had to pile on the points in the first half of the season and hold off the inevitable Mercedes response. I wouldn't be surprised to see Hamilton walk away with it again.
You quoted a poster saying Hamilton was in a car which was capable of doing 1 sec a lap faster than Leclerc by asking why was Bottas not able to do it. You yourself answered it by saying as Bottas is nowhere near Hamilton's class, but that doesn't mean Hamilton was somehow driving way beyond the car's ability to reel in Leclerc. The fact remains that Merc is much faster than Ferrari and this race just confirmed that again.

This sets a bad precedent though. Imagine if we are at the tail end of the season and have a very close title race. If the leader knows that they will get a 10s penalty for pushing thier rival off track, then they will do it.
Yeah this is pretty much the size of it, barring some horrendous luck the Red Bull simply has too much, and Max is far too good for any driver ability to make the difference.

From what I have seen, yeah the 10 second was maybe right, but taken out no totally disagree with you, seen incidents like it many times and the same penalty has been given out.

Honestly i think this year RB car is the fastest, they should win it really.
I don't like the Mercedes / Hamilton combo but that was a racing incident.. 10 second penalty shouldn't have been given.

Yeah whereas you're a paragon of level-headedness. You've been having tantrums since the incident, you're just as much of a fan boy as anyone you reply to.
If he's had a great drive he's had a great drive, and there have been some. But he's in the fastest car, he's lucky his mistake (let's assume) takes out his rival and not him, he gets the lightest possible penalty that is easily compensated for by the speed of his car, he's lucky he can get his car repaired, Sainz gets a bad pitstop, Bottas gets teamorders and he catches Leclerc in a far slower car. That's in no way a brilliant drive, it's a very, very lucky win and an injustice to his rival that he caused. It takes a typically entitled Englishman to not show any modesty and it takes even more entitled Englishmen not to feel embarassed about it.
