Couldn't car less. I can count on probably one hand the amount of good games he's had for us. He always seemed to be injured when the big games came around.

For me he's been one of the most disappointing signings ever. It's turned out a bit like the Veron transfer.
Well the options aren't great. Reward him for very inconsistent performances with a mega deal he won't dream of getting elsewhere (north of the supposed 290k a week we're already paying him) and hope we can make it work tactically, use him for the season for the price of 14m in wages and miss out on potential 50m sale and see him leave on a free for the 2nd time, or sell him now and save that 14m and make another 50m going straight back into building a coherent team. The last option seems to me to be by far the most sensible one.
I also wouldn't describe the team as a finally worthy 11. I think our midfield is a major issue, AWB is still getting up to speed, we have GK issues, but up front, on paper, we look very good. The consistent performers are a mix of Bruno, Shaw, Maguire, Greenwood and Cavani.
I had the same blinkers on as Jose did. I really thought Pogba would evolve into a box to box dominator, akin to Toure. Jose defended him to the hilt for the first 18 months and persisted with making it work in a double pivot when it really wasn't coming off. That goal he set up for Lingard against Arsenal was Yaya-esque. Remember Jose saying after the match no other player in the league can do that. And I agree. But the mentality is so far from his ability that he's a tactical conundrum.
I agree that he works really well in a team where he is not required to fight for the team consistently, isn't relied upon as a leader and just allowed to do his thing. The most talented player we've had since Cristiano, but nowhere near the same application.
It was always going to end badly with the way he left, the crazy transfer fee.
He did okay at Juventus surrounded by great players and he was able to make 2 or 3 good to key passes a game.
BUt in the Premiership he does that 5 games a season only and even then not always key to us winning.
Bruno's impact is what Pogba's should have been.
I really wish we would just sell him, an I'm a Pogba fan on the whole. He hasn't ever really done it for us on a regular basis, his agent is a scumbag and it's so unbecoming for us to be trying to cling on to a player who has so often shown disloyalty through his agent. I know many try and separate Mino and Paul, but for me Mino is just an employee of Paul. Anything he says that Paul doesn't come out and correct Mays we'll come from the horse's mouth.
I will be delighted if we manage to sell him this summer and re-invest the money in a proper defensive minded player.

Turns out if you have a foot out the door wherever you are, you belong to nowhere. He had a chance to be beloved here, if only he did not act a twat and put together at least one consistent season. However, with Pogba, everything else comes before performances.

But, what about assists, work rate, tackling, key passes, chance creating, etc you know to consider someone's impact.
I mean Pogba was not exactly even a good penalty taker for us...
Part of me would be relieved to see him go. He's a constant distraction with his contract negotiations and now that we have Bruno, I dont think he's worth it.

Look, there are legitimate criticisms of Pogba and being happy to see the back of him isn't an unreasonable opinion at this stage, but to suggest he's only had a handful of good games for us is ridiculous. He's had more good games than bad games here, and whether you think that's good enough or not, its not a reason to rewrite the narrative completely.
No need to debate, when people hate him, they hate him.
Just wait and see if he leave or not. If he signed a new contract, let's back him up.

I went to their reddit few weeks ago and all of the comments were positive wanting him to join PSG.
He's caught in possession, resulting in giving ball away, far too often. For United at least. Maybe that changes if we improve the team, and certainly he plays more against the better teams.

The Glazers have spent the money, blame it on Woody for not signing the right players or extending contracts of players he should have let go a long time back. As for them pocketing the money, they own it and no matter if we like it or not, they do have the right to take money out of their business like all business people do.
