Tbh both of them are very average and I don't think either are upgrades on Fred. Neves at least has a good passing range on him and maybe it's the team holding him back from making a step up, but I'm not too big on Saul. He doesn't do much passing and while he does get stuck in, isn't a holding midfielder who can keep things organized.What about Saul(45)and Neves(35), Not too expensive as we can use 45M from Pogba sale to buy Saul and then just 35M to get neves.

For sure, but all things considered if you have a world class player with his wage and reputation, you want him to actually fit into your best 11 with the others, not leaving you exposed if you use them. For me, signing Bruno and Sancho essentially made Pogba not very relevant from a clear starting 11 spot perspective.I would start him in 75% of the games through a season. (15-20% rested and the remaining to be brought on as a sub.)
In a one-off match, a final, it would depend on the form of others at the time. But likely start with a more defensive minded lineup, so Paul oj the bench, with thoughts to bring him on in the 2nd half when we need someone that can create some moments of magic.

So daft to want to leave when it's clear we are in the best position in years to push on and signing his international teammate. Can't he see that? Surely he could sign a new deal with a decent buyout incase he still wants to leave in a year or two? Just seems horrible timing on his part really.

Sancho is nowhere near as marketable as Pogba, not even in the same planet. For example, Pogba has 46.2M followers in Instagram, Sancho has only 6.7M, which is still more than any other United player except De Gea and Rashford, both slightly above 11M. United itself has 42M, less than Pogba. In Facebook, Pogba has 24M, Sancho has 6M. In Twitter, Pogba has almost 9M, Sancho has less than 1M.I agree on the influencer theory, he is marketable but we have also just signed Sancho who is just as marketable. Sancho is not just a big buy on the pitch but commercially just as big.
Pogba however; through his agent does disrespect the club, why would we want to pay those wages for someone who every 6 months will disrupt things?
Also, comparing Messi is not really fair, he delivers the good on the pitch, Pogba is talent and gift but what Messi does is no where near in comparison to Pogba. Messi scores, creates big goals, carries the Barca team in ways Pogba can't.
