Once all the players are ready to play, might be 2nd or 3rd game of the season, I think 4 names will be first written on the tram sheet. Kante, Havertz, Lukaku, and Werner.
I’m not sure if we play striker partnership or Werner coming off the left? I do think Tuchel will change formations before changing those four names.

To be fair bayern liverpool and once A.Madrid. That's tough for any team.I thought we played twice bayern in super Cup but the penalty lost against liverpool I forgot totally. Under Jose we lost because of failed Lukaku penalty now he will be our star man striker. :lol:

Great for you to give 18 month period. Chelsea board won't accept failure if he failed to challenge for title he will be shown the door.
 
They have already followed him to the airport. I think the only significance is that he could be ready for Palace.

Wow... How do Chelsea pull these deals off? That seems extremely high for Chelsea's 4th choice striker (Lukaku, Werner and Havertz are ahead of him). Maybe there is something more I am not seeing in him.

United conceded two more goals than we did last season, and we shipped 7 in a game.

Edit: Arsenal conceded 39 and had one of the best defences in the league surprisingly. Only Chelsea and City were better.

Roman needs to get the cheque book out. Zero investment. Disgusting.
 
Roman out. Net spend zero. Still Barkley,zappacosta,emerson,Kennedy, bakayoko need to be sold. 30-40 mn will come in if they moved permanently. Probably we have 100 mn more to spend. Kounde and one midfielder Roman. We will be ready to go for five trophies tomorrow super Cup excluded.:drool:.

Very well done, I love how he ships off the dead weight, I am still waiting for Jones to be the best defender in the prem as SAF told us he would be haha.. I think we have had a great summer so far, I hope we still sign 2 more, but we are getting there.

Villarreal are starting Pau after he just returned to the club.

 
So at least 2 players in the team who won't be with us next season. Possibly 3-4 with another on the bench. Its quite the farewell game.
 
I’m no Lukaku fan: he’s a big baby who couldn’t hack it at United and wasn’t the striker we needed. However, I think he’s a brilliant signing for Chelsea.

They had/have no issues creating chances under Tuchel and they were increasingly great defensively towards the back end of the season. The issue they had was putting chances away. This is where Lukaku is as good as any striker in the business. Expect regular braces against the Watford’s and Norwich’s of the world and Chelsea will be all the better for it.
 
Remember when we were going to start ignoring our youth once the transfer ban was over?
