Schmeichel's Cartwheel
Correctly predicted Italy to win Euro 2020
If your partner got the vaccine & died you wouldn’t be saying that. Not if it's saving thousands? Not rocket science fella.

That's a glib and lazy comment. We all know that, what we can't do is stop it happening by making a wish.1 is too many.
So then let’s stop all modern medicine because pretty much every medication has killed someone inadvertently1 is too many.

DNFTT
Absolutely years since I used that acronym.
1 is too many.
Had to Google that.
Feck. Know I feel old.
1 death is too many with the vaccine, but >600,000 without it is okay?1 is too many.
Why in gods name would you have thought that?I thought you were smart. So genuine question, do you intend to discuss properly or are you here to troll?
If you want to discuss, I have a question. Will wait on your reply first.
I’d understand someone’s point if they have a medical reason for not doing so. Otherwise sorry I don’t understand their point and probably never willDidn’t a BBC radio host die due to a serious reaction after taking the AZ one? I suppose her family are selfish pieces of shit for wishing she didn’t get it?
Just be nice & understand other’s point of view. It’s not hard.

Big penis tablets? To the unvaxxers.. have they ever taken any type of medication and read the side effects in the pamphlet?
my bp tablets for example said that a side effect may be “death” but I don’t see people mass protesting that.

That is a silly argument.
If someone died in a parachuting accident I'm sure their relatives would wish they hadn't gone parachuting that day but I'm fairly sure they wouldn't wish that people started throwing themselves out of planes without one.
Well let’s say their plane was in danger of crashing and the pilot thinks he might not get it under control and is a advising parachutes and jumping. Is someone going to say “I don’t trust parachutes, they are not designed to open. I will take my chances”We are talking about a dramatic event that just raises somes questions about the side effects of a vaccine.
This tragic death has been really reported because she was a BBC journalist....
Otherwise - in no way - they would have communicated in this way
Time will tell but there are good reasons to think:
- The vaccine efficacy is overrated
- The side effects are underrated
I'm sure their relatives would wish a parachuting activity better regulated or even forbidden.
This is how the average human being reacts.
I don’t know why so many anti vaxxers become so illogical
Haha no I can’t work those people out, or at least I can’t work out many of the reasons they give. They don’t make senseYou really are or this is my (lack of?) german humor kicking in?

We're around 10 months into vaccination with said vaccines and I'm surprised this is your conclusion, honestly. Every statistic there is shows how effective the vaccines work and how minor the side effects generally are and how rare major side effects occur, especially compared to the alternative - an infection with corona.
@Wibble
You have recourse to argumentum ad hominem but I am perfectly fine with that because I sometimes do the same!
The general public is provided with some vaccine efficacy rates that are quite high (sometimes near 100%).
I know the vaccines are effective in real life but I can see that:
- some lockdowns in highly-vaccinated countries
- people now recommend a 3rd dose
The problem is so complex, multi-dimensional and new that it is maybe an impossible task in the short run to really assess the vaccine effect.
I just invite people to be more intellectually humble when it comes to analysing stats![]()
Interesting. Considering we can’t forbid COVID, I would be very interested in your views on better regulation for it. By that I’m assuming what you mean that we should have restrictions and lockdowns in place indefinitely rather than using this vaccine approach?
At its most basic the vaccine is to stop deaths and hospitalisation so why don’t you start with those stats too assess its effectiveness?
I do not have any recommendations to make.
Even if we both know nothing on the matter, I would need to know your definition of "effectiveness" before thinking about the opportunity (or not) to answer your question.
To prevent deaths and hospitalisation, of which we can see they are very effective at.
Great news in Denmark where the government have now announced that on 10th September Covid-19 will now longer be classed as a risk to society.
Thailand, Singapore, more and more countries moving rightfully in the endemic phase.
Just in time for my Copenhagen half marathon on 19th Sept too![]()
Aren't we still in the middle of a pandemic?
Logic and antivax are mutually exclusive.I don’t know why so many anti vaxxers become so illogical
